Glamglow Products: Glenn and Shanon Dellimore’s brainchild GlamGlow is a luxe skincare brand that originated in 2010 from the urge of creating a Holy Grail all-in-one facial treatment for the entertainment industry of Hollywood. From the dawn of its appearance till this day, this brand has never failed to surprise beauty enthusiasts with their amazing mud based facial masks and cleansers. Nina Dobrev and Miley Cyrus are just two ‘glam’ names of GlamGlow’s world wide clientele. The secret behind GlamGlow’s award-winning quick-action products is their patented TEAOXI Real Leaf technology. According to one of GlamGlow’s founders, their products are basically a combination of some problem-specific plant leaf (Tea Tree, Eucalyptus etc.) and mineral-rich clay found in different zones of our green planet. Coming out of the box of facial masks and cleansers, now this recently took over by Estee Lauder brand has stepped into the arena of skin care as a whole. Today we will be discussing some of their ‘all-time wonders’ to their ‘merely there’ products.

GlamGlow Supermud is a rare combination of six skin-friendly acids that are used treat problematic skin. This is one of the best pore-refining face masks for the oily and blackhead prone skin. It helps to get rid of the accumulated impurities from the open pores and gives squeaky clean skin. When this charcoal color mask dries on the skin, it reveals the ‘pore matrix’ of the face as the extra sebum from the pores of the skin leaves tiny dots of oil on the dried mask. So, if you have acne prone oily skin, this is the product you need to give a shot at!

This award-winning face mask was the first product from GlamGlow. This one was a quick hit among the celebrities at Hollywood industry and till date, people rave about it. This is a French sea clay-based face pack that promises to work as a replacement of expensive salon facial. With the tingling sensation and leaf exfoliating particles, this one is targeted towards people who have to apply makeup quite frequently and need heavy defoliating clean up for ‘camera ready skin’. This one too works best on oily skin.

This is a super pretty shiny silver peel-off mask. This does give a certain amount of skin firming effect and that too instantly! So if you are someone looking for a rapid action pore shrinking and ‘glow-getting’ product before a big event, this might be the best option to go for! The other nice fact about Gravitymud is that its ingredients are said to be working on your skin even after peeling-off the product from the skin. GlamGlow ThirstyMud Hydrating Treatment:

The Thirstymud is a dryness relief jelly type mask to be used as a regular moisture mask or an overnight mask. If you are someone with dry skin, then this mask will have a plumping effect on your skin. The skin would look hydrated and the dry patches would get healed eventually.

But, all these things you can get from a budget-friendly Korean sheet mask as well. This treatment will make you splurge $69 for one single product when you can buy a skincare jungle with the price!

It’s not bad at all.In fact, the kit is a very hydrating product, its just very pricey!

Price: $69(Rs.4050) for 50gm & $24(Rs.1600) for 15g

What ‘s NOT!

  1. GlamGlow Flashmud Brightening Treatment:

Glamglow Hot or Not 8

This Brightening treatment is sure to give you some sort of brightness to the face but the leafy particles in it are quite harsh on the skin. The skin gets scratched by the heavy exfoliation and often results in irritated skin issues or breakouts. This product would certainly not be a good choice for sensitive skinned people, it can even bug extremely normal skin!

Price: $69(Rs.4050) for 50gm & $24(Rs.1600) for 15gm

  1. GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer:

This ‘Mega’ Illuminating moisturizer is basically a skin nourishing cream with a slight tint and micro-fine illuminators. While this product has been quite appreciated by some, the others say it is a sticky cream that just gives just a little bit of glow to the skin. It does not perform well under makeup and the glow it gives can be brought on by mixing a good quality liquid highlighter to the regular moisturizer. So, you already know what to do!

Price: $49(Rs.3200) for 50ml

3. GlamGlow Plumprageous Gloss Lip Plumper Treatment:

This lip plumper gives you tingling sensations along with the usual glossy effects on the lips. Due to the tingle, the lips swell up and look plump. There are lots of deluxe lip plumpers that work in the same way but this one tingles so much that it reaches the limits of bearableness to some. I don’t like a beauty at the cost of my irritated skin. Do you?

Price: $19(Rs.2000) for 3.5ml

4. Glamglow Volcasmic Matte Glow Moisturizer:

Glamglow Hot or Not 6

This GlamGlow’s new moisturizer promises to make the skin glowy keeping skin’s moisture barrier intact. Normally the products with moisturizing properties often are not ‘mattifying’ but this one tries to go out of the box in this matter. The texture of this moisturizer is thicker; almost balm-like. It acts as a good primer due to its silicone like finish but the mattifying effect is nothing extraordinary. It can be a skip for oily skin. The nourishing feel never sinks into the skin so this product is not the best fit as a moisturizer for dry skin as well!

Price: $54(Rs.3650) for 50ml
