My Experience with Garnier Ultra Doux Nourishing Hair Oil
This oil comes in a see-through plastic container with a green screw lid. The packaging is quite sturdy and travel-friendly. The ingredient list is mentioned in detail along with the percentage of base components.
Colour & Texture
The oil looks light green and transparent in the bottle but when a small amount of product poured out it becomes colorless. This oil has a medium density as compared to other easily available oils for hair. It is definitely lighter than pure coconut oil but thicker than silicone-based dry oils. If applied in fewer amounts it feels non-sticky. It works as effective deep conditioning oil if the generous amount is used.
It has a light nut oil kind of fragrance. The fragrance is not at all strong or flowery. Its fragrance is quite unique I would say.
This is one of my most purchased Garnier products till date. Ever since I started my hair growth journey I make it a point to oil my hair frequently. I like coconut oils the best but also keep light hair oils in my stash. Light hair oils are mainly mineral oil based. Larger molecules of mineral oils do not penetrate into the skin and that is why it does not worsen pimples. When I am having bad pimple breakouts I shift to lighter hair oils. This nourishing oil suits my hair really well. It makes my dry and frizzy hair manageable and smoother looking. I do not get hair fall after using this oil and that is why I go for this oil often.
What do I like about this hair oil?

- It can also be used after hair wash to define curls

- Free fr5om silicones and paraben
- The fragrance is not strong
- Regular use makes hair smoother and softer
What I dislike about this oil?
- Mineral oil base
- The smell might not be liked by everyone
- Amount of coconut and almond oil is extremely low
Would I Repurchase or Recommend?
I am on my second repurchase now. I won’t recommend this in place of natural hair oils but you can definitely try it as a light moisture treatment or leave in oil.
