Hi Everyone!

Today I have a cold cream review for you all!

I know, I might be a little late in coming in with this review, because winter is getting ready to pack its bags, right? But in that case, just see this one as an item for the next winter season. That way you’ll be able to tackle the future cold battles promptly!

Today I’ll be reviewing another Garnier moisturizer! Namely the Garnier Winter Care Nourishing Cold Cream that contains Honey and Shea Butter. Winters usually do a number on my skin no matter how mild or severe the winds may be. So I make sure cold creams and moisturizers are in abundant supply for me during these few months.

So let’s find out how this one treated my drying skin.

My Experience with the Garnier Moisturizer: Cold Cream with Honey and Shea Butter

Packaging

The cream comes in a little orange colored tub that fits 40gm of the cream. It has a white colored lid. This tub, in turn, is placed in a cardboard box with flaps. This one does not come with a spatula, just like the other Garnier creams. But the package is small enough to make it convenient for travels.

Consistency and Texture

The cream is quite thick. It absorbs into the skin very fast. It is white in color. True to its claim, it isn’t sticky or greasy and feels comfortable on the skin.

Fragrance

It has a strong sweet scent. Even though it is strong, it isn’t overwhelming or anything. It’s pleasant.  The fragrance fades away after a few hours though.

Effects

This cream turned out to be quite useful for me. I have combination skin. But during the winters, the dial starts teetering more towards dry. So I constantly have to keep it in check, fixing the dry areas whenever necessary. And this one has been doing a fine job of keeping the dryness away. Though its effects actually do not last a full 24 hours as its claim goes, it does, however, stay quite long and one reapplication in the evening is all I need. The Shea Butter in the cream truly does make the skin smooth, soft and supple. Therefore once I apply this cream, my skin feels happy and healthy and looks the part too!

While it is perfect for me, this one might not be perfect for those of you whose skin type is super dry. Then it might become a little light for you. But for the rest, it’s a thumb up!
