My Experience with Forest Essentials Intensive Eye Cream with Anise:
My eyes were in a very bad position when I bought this cream. A desperate buy actually. They were dry, tired and puffed. I bought it for a friend’s recommendation.( Thanks Sone 🙂 )
This is the first product I got to try from FE. As the tagline of the brand- Luxurious Ayurveda, it truly is; both in terms of price and packaging. 😛 This comes in a glass pot securely packed in a cardboard box. The pot has an extra cap on it to avoid any spillage. The texture of the cream is water-like. Just a few dots (3-4) are sufficient for both the eyes.
The first day I applied it, I got a burning sensation around my eyes. I waited for a minute and the sensation faded away. I walked to the store the very next day to get the product changed. But the sales lady assured me that there’s nothing to worry because my eyes were very dry and suggested me to continue using it.
So I started applying it two times a day- Morning and at night. For the first 2 days I experienced the same burning sensation, but after that the results were amazing.
I could see how moisturized and nourished my eyes look. Just a few seconds massage and the cream would be absorbed. Since then I have been regularly using it. The quantity I apply now has also reduced. Dark circles have also reduced but not gone completely yet. (I started using it a month back only) Also, I cannot see any difference in my fine lines. But patience is the key. I am still left with half the quantity.
- Authentic Ayurvedic formulation
- Very nourishing
- Visibly reduces dark circles
- Made in INDIA 🙂
- Bit Expensive, but if the quantity lasts for few months then why not!!!
- Tub form is prone to breakage.
Would I repurchase and recommend?
The eye area is the most delicate area of the face. So I would suggest going natural on this. I am very happy with this product and am definitely going to buy it again the moment I get over with this one.
Glad you liked it Roohi 🙂 🙂
