My Experience with Forest Essentials Facial Treatment Masque Nourishing Mysore Sandalwood & Nagkesar

This face masque comes in a really luxurious tub packaging. You ask the Forest Essentials store people and they will give you a wooden spatula to use with it. Those ways it does not get contaminated!

This masque is very creamy. It smells like mild sandalwood…but the smell is not too strong. Just a faint whiff. It spreads easily over the face and neck in a thin layer. What I do is, just before applying this mask; I put a warm damp face towel on my face for 4-5 minutes. That kind of just opens up my pores. After that I apply this mask.

It feels very soothing on the application and there no stinging or tickly feeling. Once its semi-dry in about 10-12 minutes, I first wash it off with warm water and then cold water. That kind of just seals the goodness in!!

This is a clay based mask and is definitely a bit drying. I follow up with Bela or Rosewater mist and Anne Semonin Oil.

Now comes the verdict. I feel it cleanses and soothes my skin. There is a very definite glow that I observed after using it. Trust me; it is quite rare for even me to observe a difference after using a product. Here itself it earns its 5/5. But wait! There’s more ;) I applied it on my breakouts (yeah I hate those idiots xx@#$!!). Next day, completely dried out!! This is going to be my go-to spot treatment from now on, for a while at least ;)
