Day creams are always our saviors. Hen we are rushing out we don’t have the time and patience to apply a moisturizer, a serum, and a sunscreen. That’s where day creams hop in. They are kind of like an all in one product.I am an advocate of choosing day creams over plain sunscreens any day. Today I am reviewing the newly launched Forest Essentials Eladi Teenage Day Cream. Let’s see how this one fares!

My Experience with Forest Essentials Eladi Teenage Day Cream

Packaging-

Luxurious jar packaging 🙂 This cream sits prettily on my dresser. Request the SA to give you a spatula for the cream. I find dunking hands anytime other than after having a bath unhygienic, Make sure you keep the spatula sanitized as well  🙂

Colour & Texture-

A light green cream that has a texture of a gel cream. It’s very light and gets instantly absorbed. Love its texture.

Fragrance-

It has a slight herbal smell that is pleasant enough. Faint elaichi like the scent and it goes away after fifteen minutes.

Experience-

I have used this cream regularly for about a month and a half and as you can see, I am about to finish the jar.It keeps my skin nourished and decently moisturized. It has not irritated my skin or inflamed it.I have a few dry patches on my face. This cream does not relieve the dryness though.

The cream is excellent in the sense it combines nourishment with SPF. I think it’s a great starter cream for teenage girls up to the age of 23-24. It keeps the skin moisturized and generally healthy. But I admit, it is very pricey. If you can easily afford it, you must buy it. If you feel the price is high, don’t buy as it will not wow you(for the price).

Would I Repurchase or Recommend?

I really do recommend this to girls below the age of 25. It’s something that will nourish your skin and make you look radiant.This is, after all, an excellent day cream. Don’t expect any anti-aging benefits. It’s at best great for skin maintenance and not treatment.Buy if your sun exposure is not too harsh. Don’t buy if you are exposed to the sun for long durations.
