Most of the times I buy my makeup products after careful deliberation but in this case, I just decided to take a leap as it was unlike any other product I had ever used. If there is one thing I like about Korean beauty products, they never fall short of presentation and innovation. Etude House Magic Cushion | touted as the Best Cushion Foundation I usually used as a corrector but can be used as a bb cream, primer, light foundation and promises to give you a radiant and glowing look. And it does. Just like much other Korean product it lives up to its expectation! But is it worth it? Read on to find out.

This Magic Cushion Pact makes skin transparent and bright with a lovely magic base color that covers imperfections of any skin type. Can be used as a primer, complexion corrector, and even foundation. Applicable for all skin types.
How to Use:
With the help of the applicator press into the sponge compact, and you’ll see the product on the sponge. Pat it evenly on the face after applying a moisturizer. Pat it in layers in areas where you have blemishes. It builds coverage as you apply in layers.
My Experience with Etude House Magic Cushion
Etude House’s Magic Any Cushion is meant to be used below your foundation/bb as a color corrector/ highlighter/base, and comes in 3 colors – Magic Mint, Magic Pink & Magic Peach! The peach color is to brighten dull and fatigued skin. Pink is for radiance while mint is for covering redness. I am okay with this product! It blends into my skin perfectly and takes the dullness off my face. I use it on days when I am too lazy to apply any makeup. It works as an excellent makeup base. I even use it as a light foundation. It’s a lightweight, sweet-smelling product with low to medium coverage. However, the product does not justify the price. Over $14 for hardly 15gms is not exactly affordable. Magic Peach is meant to be applied all over the face unlike the other two. It does make your face shimmer and gives a radiant bright finish. Even so, I recommend it to be used on light blemishes and spots as I don’t think it will be able to cover up darker ones. One good thing about this product is that you can actually buy a refill separately which is certainly cheaper than buying the entire product again and again.
Overall Performance of Etude House Magic Cushion
Positives :
- Can be used as a primer, makeup base, bb cream and light foundation.
- Gives a shimmery radiant glow
- Gives a fresh brightening effect immediately on application
- The packaging is very good and refills can be bought ones the product is finished.
- Last a really long time even though the quantity is less.
- Gives fine lightweight coverage and can be applied in layers if used as a foundation.
- Has a floral fragrance.
Negatives
- It does not fall under affordable range.
- Limited availability in India.
- Buying refills can be troublesome as they need to be shipped.
- Average coverage. Better to be used as a bb cream.
- Concealing properties are not apparent in many cases.
Overall Would I repurchase and recommend?
Maybe If I have a lot of money to spend freely. Firstly I am unimpressed by the amount of product and secondly why in the name of god will it be inside a sponge? It’s basically a sponge soaked with the liquid that placed inside the box with another sponge applicator to apply it with. Weird. However, I suggest to all to be more open-minded and maybe give it a shot if you are willing to. Who knows this just might work amazingly for you?
