Who is it for? The Essence Eyeshadow Blockbuster is a matte skin colored eye shadow perfect for setting your eye primer or concealer.

How to use?

Prime your eyes with an eye primer or a concealer before applying your eye shadow. Use this to set the primer/concealer and as a nude eye shadow for blending darker colors.

My experience with Essence Eyeshadow Blockbuster

Packaging – 

This eye shadow comes in a plastic packaging, without a box. The shadow is sealed by a plastic covering with ensures the quality of the product you receive. Although the packaging doesn’t look very sturdy, after using it a few times, I find that it is quite decent. It is tight and will not open in your makeup bag if you carry it with you.

Colour –

 If your are of Light to Medium skin tone, this eye shadow will perfectly match your concealer. So the color make it a perfect shade for setting your eye base. It can also be used on the lid as well as be used for blending deeper brown shades.

Pigmentation – 

The pigmentation of this eye shadow is average. It gives a completely matte look, which is great.

Application –

 This eyeshadow can be applied with a brush or with a finger. You can use whichever you are comfortable with. The finished look is the same in both the cases.

Experience –

 I mostly use this eye shadow as a setting powder for my eye base but it can definitely be used as a lid color. I like the matte finish and how easily my eyeshadow blends after I apply this eyeshadow.

What don’t I like about the product?

1. The pigmentation isn’t very great, it could have been better.

Will I recommend or repurchase?

I personally like this product but I would say it isn’t a must have. If you like it, you can definitely give it a go, it wouldn’t disappoint.
