Over the years, I’ve been using moisturizers from various beauty brands and I’ve been quite satisfied. Some months ago though, I was having a bit of a skin issue and so I visited my regular dermatologist. During that visit, I was told to start using Emolene Cream on an everyday basis and since then, I’ve been carrying it everywhere I go.Let’s see if its the best cream for dry skin!
How to use
Take required quantity of gel/cream and massage it until it is absorbed. Apply it as many times as required.
My experience with Emolene Cream
Emolene Cream comes in a light blue tube with details printed in black. Like most other creams, this one too has very basic packaging, which is okay. It looks exactly like one of the creams you’d pick up from a chemist and not a beauty store. The cream is white in color and comes in a watery consistency, which is great. Because of the watery texture, it sinks into the skin easily with a light massage. It does a great job of moisturizing and leaves the skin soft and hydrated for a long time. Since it is a water based product and has a nongreasy texture, it feels very light on the skin. It doesn’t feel like a product has been applied. Also, very little product is needed. The cream has a slight fragrance to it which is almost unnoticeable. Like the brand mentions, it works well for dry to normal skin types. However, for those with oily skin, I suggest you skip it.
I use this moisturizer at least twice a day on my face and sometimes my hands and elbows too. It is very reasonable and easily available.
