Elle 18 Nail Pops Nail Enamel Remover Review

by Sreeparna Ganguly

Nail paints are one of the things in my makeup kit without which my makeup looks feel undoubtedly vacant. To me nail paints are important, but removing them properly is vital step as well. Earlier I used to put my trust over the old-school Lakme nail remover too much. As I am going through an experimental phase, the scenario has changed for me. As a result, Elle 18 Nail Pops Nail Enamel Remover came to my house as my current nail paint removing solution. This is a comparatively new product in the market. It was launched just a year ago as opposed to Lakme’s or Coloressence’s nail removers. Here we go with the review of Elle 18 Nail Pops Nail Enamel Remover which is currently Indian market’s one of the most economic nail removers.

My Experience with Elle 18 Nail Pops Nail Enamel Remover

Packaging- This nail polish remover comes in a clear glass bottle with a pink plastic screw lid. The body of the bottle has a unique shape which looks quite interesting and ‘gilrly’. There is a plastic stopper with a small hole is attached to the opening of the glass bottle to dispense the desired amount of product. Though the packaging looks nice and sturdy, its glass body is breakable which in turn reduces travel-safety.

Colour & Texture- The nail paint removing solution is actually a bright pink coloured runny liquid. The liquid is volatile.

Fragrance- The product has typical acetone smell that most other budget nail enamel removers possess.

How I Use It- I am using this remover for months now. I generally pour some product out in a cotton ball and rub the nails to remove existing nail paint. If I want to remove dark coloured nail paints, I do a final rub on nails with remover-soaked clear cotton. This way the nails do not look yellow.

Overall Performance of Elle 18 Nail Pops Nail Enamel Remover

Elle 18 Nail Pops Nail Enamel Remover 4

I have used Elle 18 Nail Pops Nail Enamel Remover to get rid of each one of my nail paints for at least 2-3 times. It removes plain nail paints completely in one go. When the nail paint is there on my nails for lingering, the time taken by this remover is lesser. It is able to remove glitter top coats completely. I have tried it with Maybelline’s Go Graffiti series nail paints with chunky stars and to my surprise, it was able to remove them all! I must give this amazing nail remover a hearty high five!

Pros-

  1. Removes plain as well as glitter nail paints completely without leaving nails yellowish
  2. Does not dry out my nails very much
  3. Super affordable
  4. Widely available

Cons-

  1. Full ingredient list not mentioned

Would I Repurchase or Recommend?

I will certainly repurchase Elle 18 Nail Pops Nail Enamel Remover because it is super cheap and quite effective at removing every kind of nail paints including beaded ones and glitter ones. This is a value-for money product. I will happily recommend it to all!
