Don’t we just love these body washes? lately, I’m in a phase where I go on collecting all the possible variants of all the body washes that are available out there. So I have been experimenting with quite a good number of them and this is when Dove happened to launch their new variants in body wash and I absolutely couldn’t skip these! The one that I will be reviewing today is Dove Go Fresh Revitalize Bodywash which looked like a citrusy body wash to me and we all know how fresh and nice those are. Let’s check out if it lived up to the expectations or not.

My Experience With Dove Go Fresh Revitalize Body Wash

Packing

The body wash comes in the standard packing like all dove body washes- in a sturdy white bottle with a flip top to squeeze the product out. The bottle is pretty compact and great to carry around. The cap shuts tightly enough and I have never experienced any product leakage.

Texture and Consistency

The consistency of the body wash is pretty thick. It looks like a thick gloop of yellowish orange color and has a creamy texture to it. Though it flows out pretty well the wash is definitely thicker than the average body washes you come across in the market

Fragrance

The smell is absolutely heavenly! it reminds me of the orange cream biscuits that we used to open and lick the cream off from, that very scent. I love it when I open the bottle and I get that citrusy hit 🙂

Experience

Well now to speak of the body wash, I have already told you how thick it is and also has such an amazing fragrance but how does it work? Firstly I feel that this body washes, in particular, doesn’t lather well at all WITHOUT a loofah. With a loofah, it does the job pretty well but the quantity required is more than what I usually pour out in case of other average body washes. Sometimes I even tip the bottle for some more body wash in the middle of the bath because I need more lather. So one squeeze isn’t just enough sometimes. The fragrance though amazing doesn’t linger on after the bath at all. You can’t smell it on your skin or anything so don’t expect that.

If I talk about the cleaning part it does the job pretty well and also keeps you odor free for the rest of the day( which is usually what citrus flavors do to you). It leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean with a clean lemon scent and I can even afford to skip the moisturizing part as it doesn’t dry out the skin.

A great buy at a low price and one bottle goes a long way 🙂
