Apply to wet hair, lather then rinse. For best results use daily and follow with Dove Environmental Defence Conditioner. In case of contact with eyes rinse thoroughly.

My Experience With Dove Environmental Defence Shampoo

The packaging

the shampoo comes in a White bottle which is quite sturdy and has a flip top opener. Its convenient to carry around and the cap closes with a nice click and stays in place. The packing is nice and simple 🙂

Texture and Consistency-

Unlike the other dove shampoos that you might have come across which have a rather milky consistency, this one is somehow completely different. I was expecting a milky fluid but I was surprised to see the green gel based shampoo which is a little on the runny side and is a little bubbly. You need a nice amount to create a good lather.

Fragrance-

The shampoo smells soooo good. It has a typical fresh aqua fragrance that smells refreshing but doesn’t stays after the head wash though I so wish it did.

Experience-

So I have been using this shampoo for quite some time now and I can give a nice insight about this product. The amount that you need to create lather is double of what I have swatched. The product creates a nice lather and you can layer up your shampoo as required. The gel formula of the shampoo blends in well with your hair to create foam. The shampoo promises to deal with pollution effected hair that has somehow got damaged. This is a good product for combating the harsh conditions and it cleanses the hair really well. It does not dry out my hair and they don’t fly around in every direction quite so much. It does control frizz to a certain extent but I strongly recommend using a conditioner as a follow-up to deal with the frizz. It comes off nicely too- no remnants in the hair and makes the hair feel soft and super touchable 😛

The best part about the shampoo is that even though it provides hydration to the dry hair yet it does not weight down your hair at all. In fact, my hair feels quite fluffed up and have a bounce too so it’s not the kind of shampoo that will make your hair turn ‘Chipku’ in the name of moisturisation.

Would I repurchase and recommend?

I think this is a buyable product which makes your hair soft and manageable. Definitely helps if you have dry and damaged hair and yes this is one of the shampoos on my repurchase list.
