My Experience with Dear Packer Turmeric + Yogurt Home Remedy Mask

Packaging- This mask comes in a vibrant orange-red matte finish plastic pouch with no re-sealing mechanism. The packaging looks quite attractive and its fan shape has some uniqueness to it. The main ingredients of this mask, yogurt, and turmeric, are shown on the packaging in cute pictorials. The detailed constituent list and claims are to be found on the back side along with picture tutorials on how to use the mask. The packaging is very strongly built, travel-friendly with no spillage issue. The sleek mask sheet pack will fit into your travel pouches easily.

Colour & Texture- It seems like the inside picture of all Dear Packer’s mask sheet packs is same. Like all other masks, this one too has a white cotton folded mask sheet drenched in colorless liquid serum. The consistency of the serum however differs. This particular mask sheet’s serum is a non-drippy liquid slightly denser than plain tap water; something with orange juice like consistency (of course minus pulp!). It does not give oily feeling and at the same time does not drip at the time of opening the folds of mask sheet.

Fragrance- There is no hint of yogurt in the fragrance. The serum smells like some ayurvedic medicine containing turmeric. The fragrance felt just ordinary to me; nothing to exaggerate upon. I have experiences of much better fragrant masks from Dear Packer’s same Home Remedy series. However, the smell is not over the top; it won’t cause any irritation. It goes off after 10-12 minutes of application.

Experience- When I read the claims portion, I was a bit skeptical about how a mask will reduce pigmentation in just one use and my suspicion was all true. I applied this mask for 20 minutes just as any other sheet mask. Like all other Dear Packer sheet masks, it resulted in moisturized and suppled-up skin. But, the pimple marks were just the same as before! It did not give me acne bouts thankfully. The skin looked brighter as the dullness got subsided due to the moisture boost. There was a glow but that too I have experienced with every other sheet masks from Dear Packer. I have deep cleansed my skin prior to the mask application but I think if I hadn’t done that, the dullness would have remained.

2. Skin looks brighter due to moisture infusion
3. Gives plump looking skin

Cons-

1. No reduction in my acne marks
2. Moisturization was temporary

Would I Repurchase or Recommend?

This Turmeric + Yogurt Home Remedy Mask was performance wise an average mask from Dear Packer. Though it shows some result some other masks from this brand and the same price range performed comparatively well. So, I am not going to buy this one again. I will suggest this mask to everyone as a moisturizing mask only.
