Mature skin worries like dryness appearance of fine lines, crow’s feet, wrinkles, blemishes etc put dents on everyone’s skin after they are over their mid-thirties. But due to some external reasons such as lack of hydration, exposure to the polluted environment or harmful sun rays the symptoms of aging sets in quicker than usual. To alleviate this most common problem we need to take care of our skin on a day-to-day basis. We should not forget to pamper our skin with something hydrating 1-2 times a week. Today I am reviewing Dear Packer Lab Collection Anti-Ageing & Firming Mask that can make your life easier for those extra pampering sessions you do at home. I am not currently in need of anti-aging solutions so I tried this mask on my mom. Here is how it worked on her mature skin.

My Experience with Dear Packer Lab Collection Anti-Ageing & Firming Mask

Packaging- The sheet mask comes in a matte yellow square plastic packaging. The packaging has a permanent seal on all the four sides so once you cut the packaging you need to use the mask in one go. The packaging is quite attractive with cute graphical figures on the front side and written details on the back. You can easily carry it in your travel bag; it won’t create a mess due to leakage.

Colour & Texture- The pack consists of one cotton sheet mask and some clear liquid serum. The sheet is wet with serum. The consistency of the serum is light but I find the texture denser than all other serums I have tried so far from this brand’s sheet masks.

Fragrance- This mask has an amazing vanilla fragrance. It feels like you are sniffing some vanilla ice cream. The smell as well is denser than the other mask serums from the same brand but it will not overpower your senses. My mom finds the fragrance to be soothing.

Experience- My mom has very problematic skin. Her skin is oily but there are pigmentation, wrinkles, crow’s foot and what not. Plus, her sensitive skin often shows irritating feeling with commonly popular skin care products. So, I was a bit skeptical to make her the guinea pig for this new mask. Thankfully it did not give her any adverse reaction. There were no rashes or scratchy feeling. She liked how cool her skin felt when the serum was evaporating. However, the performance of this mask was just similar to the other sheet masks. There was a subtle glow, instant boost of moisturization and the temporary plumpness but sadly it did not do anything with her wrinkles. The skin was softer but the sagging skin was as it is. So, I think 50% of the claims proved to be untrue on her case.

2. The result lasts for just 1-2 days

Would I Repurchase or Recommend?

Dear Packer Lab Collection Anti-Ageing & Firming Mask proved to be just another hydrating mask that provides temporary results. Since there was no change in the wrinkles and fine lines, I am not going to purchase it for the second time. I will suggest this mask to anyone who needs a soothing and moisture replenishing mask for dry skin.
