My experience with Dabur Vatika Enriched Coconut Oil With Hibiscus

Packaging

It comes in a green and red colored bottle with a red cap. The cap can be opened by turning it. It has a stopper and a hole needs to be made to help with the flow the oil. I wish it has a flip top cap, which would be much easier to use than the clumsy turner

Colour and texture

It has a thin consistency and is light-yellow in color.

Fragrance

It smells mildly of herbs, the fragrance is pleasant

Experience

I purchased this from a nearby shop since I was attracted to this oil seeing two things. The name “Vatika” and the name “hibiscus”. The Vatika hair oil has been a house-hold name in most of the houses and it performs decently well for many. Although it doesn’t do any miracles, people still swear by it. I have used vertically long ago and it fared fine for me too. It had been really long since I used Vatika and decided to purchase this since it was enriched with the goodness of hibiscus and claimed to reduce hair fall and help grow thicker, longer hair. Firstly, the oil is non-sticky and has a pleasant herbal smell. Those who don’t like herbal smell might find this to be a turn-off. It is light yellow in color and gets absorbed by the scalp easily. It is easy to wash off and there is no need to use a conditioner. It makes hair soft, shiny. It doesn’t give miraculously shiny hair, but just helps maintain that mane. Also, it claims o help with hair fall but it helps to a very minute extent. Don’t expect any tremendous regrowth of hair or whatsoever. It didn’t help me regrow lost hair but helped lightly towards reducing my hair fall. Vaguely, it helped reduce my hair fall by 20 to 25 percent after 4 to 5 washes. Don’t expect any results within first 2 washes, this said, everyone is different and every person reacts differently to different products. So this might help with your hair fall or not do anything. Buy this if you want a hair oil that contains natural ingredients and if you don’t expect miracles from this oil

I wouldn’t repurchase this since I have loads of oil but if you are looking out for an oil for hair loss that helps only to a certain extent, go ahead and buy this.

Rating: 3/5

Glossypolish verdict: The Dabur Vatika hair oil helps deal with hair loss to an extent only. It won’t do any miracles. This oil is apt if you are on a tight budget and looking for effective solutions for hair fall.

Yes …Even if it doesn’t do any good, it won’t harm. I’ve had worst experiences …But this fared pretty well.
