Conditioner Before Shampoo ?!!

by Mallika Dharmani

Not all of us are born with Rapunzel’s beautiful mane. Some of us have hair that could be a living nightmare- YES I’m talking about frizzy hair, hard to manage, dry rough looking hair basically unhealthy hair!!!Maybe this is because we have been washing our hair wrong all this while. If your hair lack volume or you have fine hair then this is going to help you get volume. Reverse washing is the new trend nowadays and it is just like the name suggests. We are all used to the shampoo first conditioner later step of washing our hair. Now all you have to do is reverse this step ie conditioner before shampoo !!

How to Do Reverse Washing or Conditioner Before Shampoo?

Wet your hair as you usually do and start by applying a conditioner to your hair. Make sure your hair is thoroughly wet before you massage your conditioner.

Take a thick conditioner for best results.

Once you are done applying your conditioner leave it on for quite some time – say 5-10 minutes.

The next step is DO NOT WASH OFF THE CONDITIONER. Wet your hair a little more and take some shampoo and apply it like you usually do.

(Take a lesser amount than you usually take).

Wash away everything gently.

A less amount of shampoo is recommended because if we use more shampoo we will strip our hair off its natural oils and also the conditioner which will again lead to dry and frizzy hair.

Huda Kattan, Kim Kardashian’s own makeup artist, claims to use this technique too for her own hair.

I tried this technique twice and I have to say it’s amazing. It’s made my hair a lot more manageable and my hair actually sits down rather than flying in every direction. :PDo try this guys! It’s for everyone out there. Even if u don’t have a frizz or if you have oily hair or dry hair whatever!!! Just do it. Because this is the correct way to wash your hair.

Do try this girls and tell how bouncy it made your hair. We would love to hear how it worked out for you.

Yes of course. If you have trouble getting out all the oil of your hair then do take the normal amount of shampoo that you usually take instead of taking a lesser amount as mentioned above.
