Hi, my beauties, I am back again with another lip product to review and ColourPop Solow: Colorpop Lipstick from their ultra matte range. I bought it off an Instagram page I think called beauty tales.in. I saw a video of Kathleen lights and I loved this shade, you can say that I bought it because I was madly in love with the shade but yeah never mind. Let’s get into the detailed review.

My Experience With ColourPop Solow
Packaging wise, this comes in a little white color pop outer box which has ultra matte lip written over it in holographic pattern and the actual liquid lipsticks come in a standard cylindrical tube with a large silver twist up cap and see through bottom which helps in identifying the shade easily. The shade name is mentioned on both the tube and the outer box.
Talking about the shade Solow, it is a nude pink color (I just have been really into nude pinks for now). I think it will be perfect for fair to medium skin tones, it might wash out duskier skin tones but again it is all about the preference. On applying it looks a bit more creamy pink that it does when it does once it dries up.
Texture wise these do feel a bit drying on the lips but for a price like this, I think one can totally work these out by either using a lip balm or lip liner or even better, a lip primer. I am so in love with the shade that I will use a lip balm first, put it out with a tissue to remove excess and then just apply it all over my lips and voila, I am done. These are not patchy on the lips. They go on smoothly and evenly and once dried out this stay on for a very long time.
All in all, I think they are good and more than average liquid lipsticks for the price at which they are offered, plus nothing can beat the love for a certain lip shade.
