My experience with the Colourpop Lippie Stix Brink

Packaging

The tube comes in a light pastel green box with white polka dots on it. The text is all printed in silver. The roll on lipstick tube is white and has the shade on one side with the name of it. So in terms of packaging, the brand has done a good job.

Texture

It has a very smooth texture to it and glides on easily onto the lips. Even if the lips are not moisturized, the application is not a problem because of the creaminess. It doesn’t emphasize fine lines.

Pigmentation

The pigmentation of the lippie stix is just amazing. It is so strong, just one swipe and you are sorted.

Fragrance

There’s no strong fragrance to the product. But, if you bring it really close, you’ll notice a light shea butter fragrance.

Affordability

For the great quality that the brand provides, this product is extremely reasonable.

Shade

It’s a beautiful terracotta rose shade. It suits light to medium skin tones. But can also work for a darker skin tone if used with a fully done up face. I tried using it without any other makeup, but it didn’t look great.

Staying Power

Brink is long lasting but does tend to wash off a bit while eating and drinking. It’s fine for a good 3-4 hours though.

Smudge-Proof/Kiss Proof

It isn’t smudged or Kiss proof which is a bit of a downer.

Finish

The finish is in between a matte and glossy, which I love. It doesn’t get patchy and can be layered.
