I have a thing for nail polishes. Somehow that weekly ritual of painting your nails is soothing and quite frankly, utterly feminine for me.

Of all the nail polishes I have used, in my experience the glitter ones are the ones that stay the longest. But the Maybelline glitter polishes are chunky and a bit streaky. When I saw the Colorbar fluid sand series with the fine glitter, I simply had to buy them!

My Experience with Colorbar Pro Nail Lacquer Fluid Sand Moonstruck, First Date, Moon Struck and Red Fete

First up the packaging. It is awesome. The applicator is the perfect thickness and applies a good coat. Texture wise the fluid sand nail polishes are exactly if someone put fine sand in nail enamel.

A singe coat gives a light finish which does not do justice to the nail color. Two coats and you have beauty on your nails.

Now for the individual colors:

First Date

I fine dull gold sand. It will look utterly beautiful with your LBD or even Henna adorned hands.

Love Boat

A peachy pinky glitter. Very feminine.

Moonstruck

Fine silver. Another lovely Shade

Red Fete

Ok I liked this one the least. In fact, I dislike it. It looks pretty only in the bottle. The red glitter does not come out as desires and it just looks shabby. My suggestion-skip this one.
