Hope everyone is doing well. Clean and clear is a brand targeted for teenage and college going girls. I despise the feel of heavy moisturizers on my skin in summers and few bloggers have hailed this as the best affordable moisturizer so I bought this. It does have few questionable ingredients but then again it is hard to find completely safe cosmetic products. Let’s get into the review.

Sensitive Skin Alert?

Since it has fragrance and few not-so-good ingredients, I would suggest sensitive skin people do a patch test.

Brand Claims:

Oily skin types need a moisturizer which nourishes the skin without making it oily or causing acne. Clean & Clear oil-free moisturizer is suitable for oily skin as it moisturizes the skin, but at the same time keeps it oil free. It contains salicylic acid which prevents pimples and blackheads, dries current acne, and kills the skin bacterium (bacterium causes acne) if any. It’s specially formulated to make skin soft, healthy and beautiful. It is fragrance-free, so it suits even sensitive skin. This moisturizer also cures dry patches in the skin and reduces oil secretion.

Clean & Clear oil-free moisturizer is light in texture and smoothes out easily. The skin absorbs it quickly without leaving any residue, and also does not clog skin pores. It’s a moisturizer that is suitable for breakout-prone skin and reduces flakes, zits, etc.

My experience with the Clean & Clear Oil Free Moisturizer:

There are not many quality moisturizers at this price range and this one is not a disappointment. The packaging is quite fussed free and dispenses the right amount of product. It contains Salicylic Acid which is proven to be the effective in preventing pimples. The moisturizer has a gel like consistency with a chemical smell in it. It is easy to spread and the skin absorbs it in no time.

My skin feels very nice for half of the day but after 5-6 hours it gets oily which is expected in this weather. There’s no SPF which is a huge bummer. Little goes a long way for each use. I like using this beneath my BB cream as well.
