Who is it for? Citra Japanese Green Tea Face Cream is for people looking for a light face cream that gives a light glow to the face.
INR 59/- for 18g
Sensitive Skin Alert:
It mentions that in the unlikely event of skin irritation, stop using and consult a doctor.
How to use?
Apply on skin after cleansing thoroughly. Starting from the cheek, gently massage cream upwards on your face and neck, until fully absorbed. Use twice daily.
My Experience with Citra Japanese Green Tea Face Cream:
This face cream comes in a white tube with a golden screw-open cap. The tube has a long nozzle which makes it convenient for use. The 18g pack is compact and travel-friendly.
The product has a mild leafy fragrance which goes away in sometime after application.
Colour and consistency:
The face cream is white in color with a pearl-like shine. The texture is velvety smooth and is not dense or runny. It is really easy to apply as it spreads easily over the skin.
This cream is light and easy to apply but it leaves a white cast on the skin when applied, which goes away within a minute or so, leaving a light glow.
However, I used it for a week daily and felt that it makes my skin oily after a while. So this is not really for people with oily or combination skin. Some may even find the finish glossy and not oily. Also, it did not lighten the skin spots like it claimed it would. All in all, it did not work well for me as after a few minutes of application I felt that my skin looked oily.
What did I like:
- Mild Fragrance.
- Affordable price.
- Easy application.
- Gets absorbed into the skin easily.
- Apt for people who like glossy finish of the cream.
- Travel-friendly and practical packaging with the nozzle.
What I did not like:
- Contain chemicals.
- Can make skin appear oily instead of glossy.
- Did not remove spots as per the claims.
Would I Repurchase or Recommend?
Not really as it did not perform well for me.
