Delon Shampoo with Macadamia Oil Review | Softness and Strength ?

Hi ladies! How often do you all change shampoos?I’m usually not big on changing shampoos and that is owing to the eternal dandruff problems I have. They just refuse to go away. So I use only those ones that are successful in battling this stubborn issue. But two weeks back, my sister purchased a new shampoo for herself. And the packaging really caught my eye and so I decided to give it a try. Yes, I know weird reason to try a new shampoo! So today I’ll be telling you how the Delon Shampoo with Macadamia Oil worked for me!

Delon Shampoo with Macadamia Oil Review | Softness and Strength ?

Price

Rs. 549 for a bottle containing 354 ml of the shampoo. I bought this from Spencers, the departmental store. But this is also available on Nykaa and Amazon, online.

How to Use?
  1. Wet your hair properly.
  2. Apply the appropriate amount of the wet hair.
  3. Massage gently working up a rich lather.
  4. Then rinse thoroughly.
  5. Towel dry and follow up with a conditioner.

My Experience with Delon Shampoo with Macadamia Oil

Packaging

The shampoo comes in a pretty brownish maroon bottle. While it isn’t totally transparent, the shampoo is visible from the outside. The bottle has a press open lid and can be poured into the palm by squeezing the bottle lightly. The packaging is quite sturdy and the bottle is slim enough to be taken on travels!

Texture and Consistency

The shampoo is almost like water, where its color is concerned, but it has a slight yellowish tint. The shampoo isn’t runny like water. It has a gooey texture like most other shampoos. It lathers quite well once I start massaging it.

Fragrance

The shampoo has a very strong fragrance that is a mixture of a sweet and salty smell. It makes the hair smell pleasant after shampooing and stays for almost three days!

Effects

I have always had wavy hair. And sometimes I get upset how they curl up in the end because the real length of my hair is never understood. But when I applied this shampoo, as promised this one did make my hair silky and smooth. But along with it, the shampoo also made my hair naturally straight which stayed for three and a half days. This made me ecstatic. Also, the softness that this shampoo gave my hair, made me fall in love with it. And yes, it also dealt well with dandruff.

So all in all, I loved this shampoo!

Delon Shampoo with Macadamia Oil Review | Softness and Strength ? 3

Positives
  1. Sturdy packaging
  2. Makes hair silky, smooth and soft
  3. Makes hair naturally straight for a few days
  4. Pleasing fragrance
  5. Deals fairly well with dandruff
  6. Lathers well
  7. Easily available
  8. Travel-friendly
Negatives
  1. None for me!

Would I Recommend and Repurchase?

Do give this a try. It works well for all kinds of hair. That softness this gives makes it worth a try.

I will definitely repurchase it!

Himalaya Herbals Anti Hair Fall Cream

PRICE

Rs. 100 for 175ml

HOW TO USE?

Apply a sufficient amount of cream from root to tip. Massage gently on the scalp using your fingers to spread the cream evenly. For better results use daily before or after hair wash.

My Experience with Himalaya Herbals Anti Hair Fall Cream

To me, this product is very nice as I have special love and faith for Himalaya products due to their natural herbal formulations. Application of this product makes your scalp and hair very oily and therefore it is just not suitable for those who all are working. Therefore I apply this product every night before going to bed and wash my hair every morning. I noticed the changes in 3-4 weeks. It also made my hair look and feel softer. This product is actually effective as it reduces hair fall to some extent. Its scent is very nice and refreshing.

Overall Performance of Himalaya Herbals Anti Hair Fall Cream

This product comes with a white colored tub containing cream with a translucent green colored cap which keeps the packaging quite tight and leaks proof. This product is an anti-hair fall cream with the goodness of bhringraj and Amla and it helps by reducing hair fall and promoting hair growth. It makes hair soft and manageable. It is available in market at a really affordable price. It is easy to apply. It is suitable for all skin types as it’s made up of natural health formulations. But you might hair fall as soon as you stop using the product.

Would I Recommend

Yes. I would love to use and recommend this product to others as it is an herbal product which means the least side effects and has a lovely fragrance. And reduces hair fall to some extent.

Park Avenue Beer Shampoo Review

Park Avenue Beer Shampoo Review

by Sahiba Singh

Who is it for? Park Avenue Beer Shampoo  is for anyone who is looking for a good beer shampoo, to add volume and shine to dull and thin hair, this is the product for you.

Park Avenue Beer Shampoo Review

Price:

Rs.155/- for 180 ml

How to use:

The shampoo comes in an attractive plastic bottle which resembles to the shape of a regular beer bottle.

The shampoo is simple to use, just apply it on to wet hair forming lather and then rinse it with cold water.

My experience with Park Avenue Beer Shampoo:

This shampoo is my favorite product. Whenever I feel my hair looks dull and thin and whenever I need to add some instant shine and volume to my hair I use this shampoo. And it has never disappointed me. The texture of the product is good and thick and it evenly spreads onto the scalp and forms a nice rich lather and cleanses my hair leaving a sweet and soothing fragrance behind.

Park Avenue Beer Shampoo Review 4

It does make my hair feel soft and shiny and voluminous. I usually don’t use a conditioner when I use this shampoo as it naturally softens and conditions my hair. But if you have dry hair and you use this shampoo make sure you use a gentle/mild conditioner. Also since it’s humid these days I would recommend people with normal hair texture to apply some mild conditioner as frizzy hair in monsoon is unavoidable and a very common problem. :/

This is a must have a product and is very reasonably priced and is very much affordable. I am absolutely happy with the results of this product. :)

Positives

  1. Effective product
  2. Gives your hair a radiant shine and softens them
  3. It is an anti-dandruff shampoo
  4. Suitable for damaged hair provides adequate care to them
  5. Makes your hair feel soft and voluminous
  6. Good for people with dull/thin hair
  7. Reasonably priced
  8. Easily available
  9. The fragrance is pleasant.
  10. Excellent conditioning properties
  11. Leaves your hair bouncy shiny

Negatives

  1. Not suitable for frizzy/dry hair, would need good conditioning if used.
  2. Contains a long list of chemicals

Overall would I recommend or repurchase?

Yes, I would definitely repurchase and recommend it to people who have damaged/dull hair. It is a product of your rescue. It does work wonders. For me, it did!  And it’s not expensive and absolutely worth trying! :)

My experience with Jovees Herbal Conditioner With Fruit Extracts

 Packaging

It comes in a white bottle with the green color cap on it. Packaging seems ok to me!

Texture

The conditioner is white in color and is more on the thick side.

Fragrance

It has a very mild and pleasant fragrance. Very refreshing!

My experience

I feel this conditioner works quite average to me. It is very smooth in consistency, is heavy but never on hairs. It ain’t works like wonder on my dry and wavy hairs. I feel it adds bit hydration to my hairs but ain’t make them appear very glossy or shiny. It is just average on that particular part, which I expected the most. One thing which I loved about it is that it ain’t lead to any hair fall.  In this price range, it’s a good deal must say!

What all I like ?
  1. Smooth texture
  2. Reasonable price
  3. Properly hydrates the hair
  4. Travel-friendly packaging
  5. Doesn’t lead to hair fall
What all I don’t like?
  1. Does not makes hair glossy or shiny.
Would I Repurchase or Recommend ?

I honestly will say it has got nothing very special if you ain’t get it , its really not a miss, many better options are available.

Sunsilk Hairfall Solution Shampoo 1

Sunsilk Hairfall Solution Shampoo: Now, who doesn’t face hair fall nowadays? Maybe there are some lucky ones out there but then the rest of us Humanly beings :P mostly suffer from hair fall and the idea of going bald or being a thin-haired person isn’t exactly something you would have on your wishlist. A shampoo somehow plays a very important role in making or making your hair. As for me, I am always on the lookout for more and more hair fall products so that I stumble on a stellar product someday and save mankind :P

Let’s see how the Sunsilk Hairfall Solution Shampoo went for me.

Sunsilk Hairfall Solution Shampoo 1

Price and Quantity

INR 110 for 180 ml INR 200 for 340 ml

How To Use
  1. Rinse your hair with water.
  2. Apply a coin-sized amount of shampoo. Lather. Wash using a rotating finger motion to nourish and cleanse pores.
  3. Rinse with running water till all shampoo is washed off.

My Experience With Sunsilk Hairfall Solution Shampoo

Packaging- The shampoo comes in a bottle which is rather slim and shapely. The top is a flip top one which is my personal favorite kind. You can always go for the second helpings easily in between the shower.

Texture and Consistency- The texture of the shampoo is rather runny and it looks really pretty being a pearlish colored liquid.

Sunsilk Hairfall Solution Shampoo 4

Fragrance- The fragrance factor is quite mild and is a lovely girly smell. Despite being mild it stays on after the wash for 2 days.

Experience- The shampoo doesn’t produce a lot of lather, it somehow provides just sufficient amount of lather but it’s not the kind that just makes a foam party in your hair. :P set adequate enough to clean. The shampoo can be rinsed out quite easily and I noticed how soft my hair felt after the first wash. I made my mom try this as well because people usually have hair fall problem when they are at this age and she and I have shared similar views on the shampoo.

The shampoo claims to be a hairball shampoo but it doesn’t really target hair fall from the root. I think it acts well on the breakage of hair that some of us face from the length of our hair but it controls hair fall only to a minimal extent which is would say is 20% of the total hair fall amount. The shampoo makes your hair considerably soft so its a lot easier to just comb through your hair and the lesser the tugging and pulling the lesser is the hair fall

Pros –
  1. Controls hair breakage
  2. Affordable
  3. Available in different sizes so travel-friendly
  4. Reduces hair fall up to 2 times
  5. Hair feels smoother
  6. Cleanses well
  7. Easy to wash off
Cons-
  1. Claims of reducing hair fall up to 10 times aren’t exactly true
  2. Doesn’t control hair fall from roots rather focuses on breakage.
Would I repurchase and recommend?

Well, I would recommend this for someone who is looking for a shampoo that makes your hair soft and reduces breakage. As for me, I would rather not go for seconds as I wasn’t exactly wowed!

Pantene Pro V Total Damage Care Shampoo

Who is it for? Pantene Pro V Total Damage Care  Shampoo is for those who want to use an affordable shampoo that protects hair from damage. Made especially for ridding hair of signs of damage, it makes use of Keratin Damage Blockers technology to achieve its effect. The product comes in a sleek white bottle with a lid that can be opened and closed easily at the flick of a thumb. The name includes the word Pro-V suggesting the inclusion of essential vitamins to remove signs of hair damage. It claims to tackle the 10 signs of hair damage, making hair visibly shiny and healthy.

Pantene Pro V Total Damage Care Shampoo

Price:

Rs. 110 for a 180 ml bottle.

How is the Pantene Pro-V Total Damage Care Shampoo unique?

Most products start showing effects on your hair a few weeks after you use them. However, I feel that Pantene Pro-V Total Damage Care Shampoo works almost immediately. You will feel the difference in your hair only after one wash! I feel this quality of the product is quite commendable, and what makes it stand out among other hair care products.

My experience with the Pantene Pro V Total Damage Care Shampoo

Starting to use it a few weeks back, I have fallen in love with this product. I could see the shine in my hair after washing my hair only once with this product. I found myself touching my hair again and again due to the soft texture that it created. When I let my hair grow long, it tends to become a little frayed at the edges. However, that phenomenon disappeared after using the Pantene Pro-V Total Damage Care Shampoo. Also, I found the fragrance of the shampoo really refreshing and delectable. It lingered in my hair even after a couple days after washing my hair.

Overall performance of the Pantene Pro V Shampoo:

The benefits that this product offers are quite remarkable. It battles all prominent signs of damage, making hair look naturally healthy and shiny. It is great for people with damaged hair who want to find a remedy at home. However, I feel that the shampoo makes use of a lot of strong chemicals alone to achieve the desired end. These are mentioned at the back of the product. I have heard a lot of criticism over the same point earlier. Such a lot of chemicals could do harm in the long run.

Would I recommend/ repurchase?

Yes, I would.

Patanjali Kesh Kanti Hair Cleanser Silk and Shine 1

Indian Ayurveda and ayurvedic ingredients have been and still are the best source of natural beauty. Patanjali has a whole range of effective and yet cost-friendly Ayurvedic products that are a must try for everyone. I completely dig their hair cleanser range and today I will be reviewing the Patanjali Kesh Kanti Hair Cleanser Silk and Shine which is a new addition to their already existing range of hair cleansers. Check the review to see more details about this product.

Patanjali Kesh Kanti Hair Cleanser Silk and Shine 1

Price and Quantity

INR 200 ml of 80 ml

How To Use

Apply 2-3ml to wet hair and massage gently. Leave for 2-3 min and rinse off. For best results use daily.

My Experience With Patanjali Kesh Kanti Shampoo

Packaging-

The hair cleanser from the Kesh Kanti range comes in a sturdy white plastic bottle which is flat in shape and has a flip top cover. The cover opens easily but one has to bang it hard to close shut the mouth of the bottle. Once closed it is perfectly safe to be carried around.

Texture and Consistency-

The shampoo is a deep dark brown red and reminds me of the color of the molasses. The shampoo is thick at the same time it is runny too.

Fragrance-

Love the herbal scent of the shampoo which smells really sweet and refreshing.

Experience-

The shampoo claims to lessen hair fall however it is marketed under the name and promise of bringing Shine to your hair. Anyone whose hair lacks luster needs to get this hair cleanser and give it a shot. The hair cleanser is quite funny as you can see in the swatch and I would suggest that you rub it in your hands first and then comb it through your hair and spread it. The shampoo lathers really well and spreads evenly. A little amount is enough for even oiled hair and produces a good amount of foam. The fragrance is relaxing and stays on the head for a couple of days and especially after the hair washes, my hair smell strongly of this amazing scent. Also, the shampoo had some sort of colorant which could be mehendi and this shampoo left a deep red tint on my hands right after I swatched it but it didn’t leave any color on my hair.

My hair felt smooth and shiny after the hair wash but it does not help with the hair fall. All it did was make my hair softer and glossier but the hair fall was only 10% better which isn’t a lot.

Patanjali Kesh Kanti Hair Cleanser Silk and Shine 3

Pros –
  1. Lathers well
  2. Little amount needed
  3. Sturdy bottle
  4. Herbal and Natural
  5. Brings shine and gloss to the hair
  6. Hair feels softer
  7. Fragrance lasts after the hair wash for a couple of days
  8. Affordable
  9. Made in India
Cons-
  1. Doesn’t help with the hair fall as promised.
Would I Repurchase and Recommend?

Yes, I think this is a great shampoo for people who have limp and dry hair. This imparts shine and makes your hair look alive :)

Biotique Bio Soya Protein Shampoo

For a person who has to go for root touch-ups regularly, I often am on a lookout for products that can help my hair color last longer. So when I came across Biotique Soya Protein Shampoo, I was quite excited to give this biotique shampoo a try. The sales person assured me that shampoo would work wonders for my hair as it was 100 percent natural.

Biotique Bio Soya Protein Shampoo

Details about Biotique Soya Protein Shampoo

This rich formula cleanses hair gently, without disturbing the natural ph balance. It claims to prevent color fade, protect perm and promote healthy shine. This product also claims to be organically pure and preservative free.  According to the packaging, this is not a cosmetic product, it has therapeutic properties.

Price: Rs 159 for 190 ml

Biotique Bio Soya Protein Shampoo 1

My experience with Biotique  Soya Protein Shampoo

Packaging:  The shampoo comes in a translucent white colored plastic bottle with a screw on green colored cap. The cap fits quite well, which makes it leak proof. All the details like the ingredients and directions are given quite clearly. The packaging is quite basic and simple, the company needs to brighten it up to make it look more attractive.

Application instructions: Apply liberally to wet hair and massage gently into a rich lather. Rinse well with water.

Colour, texture, and fragrance: The shampoo is milky white in color and is quite thick. The fragrance is mild and pleasant, which is a surprise considering the use of all natural ingredients. Unlike other natural shampoos, it lathers quite well. And you do not have to use too much of shampoo per wash.

Experience: The main reason I bought this shampoo is to make the color of my color treated hair last longer. I must say this shampoo has not disappointed. I have already used it a few times and I can definitely see that the color has faded much lesser. I have oily hair so my hair turns greasy unless I wash it every second day. Treating your hair to chemical based shampoo every second day can definitely not be good. This shampoo takes care of that aspect as well. Since the bottle mentions that it is for dry, damaged hair, I thought it will not suit me, but that is not the case. My hair feels quite soft and shiny after the wash.

Biotique Bio Soya Protein Shampoo 4

Overall Performance of Biotique  Soya Protein Shampoo

Pros:
  1. Natural
  2. Effective for preserving hair color
  3. Does not dry out hair
  4. Mild fragrance
  5. Lathers well
  6. Leak-proof  packaging
  7. Affordable
  8. No animal testing
  9. Preservative-free
Cons:
  1. Biotique needs to make the packaging more attractive
Would I repurchase or recommend?

Yes, it is a good shampoo for color treated hair. Since this shampoo is chemical free and you will be using hair color less often, this shampoo is definitely a boon.

L’Oreal Paris X-Tenso Care Shampoo

L’Oreal X-Tenso Care Shampoo : Lovely flowing tresses have forever been in. There is nothing old fashioned about beautiful long straight hair. While some of us may prefer curls while others may be dying for the straight hair look.
So until recently, I decided to shun my curls and get my hair all straightened and smoothened out and the results have been great so far.
Getting a hair treatment done is no biggie but what matters is how well are we looking after our hair after the treatment and the kind of shampoo and conditioner we use plays the most important role.
So if you have hair that you got straightened and are wondering which products to use then this L’Oreal Paris X-Tenso Care Shampoo might do the trick.

L’Oreal Paris X-Tenso Care Shampoo

PRICE AND QUANTITY –

INR 575 for 230 ml

My Experience With L’Oreal X-Tenso Care Shampoo

PACKAGING

the shampoo comes in a straight white slim bottle with silver and metallic blue designs over it and has a small opening with a  flip top that quite travels friendly. I keep carrying it around ever since I got my treatment done.

TEXTURE AND CONSISTENCY-

The shampoo is white in color and runny not very thick. It is clear milky white in color devoid of any sparkles.

FRAGRANCE -

oh, the fragrance. This is the best part of my shampoo day for me – the fragrance ladies! It smells so amazing like some expensive perfume and the best part is I can enjoy the whiffs my hair
keeps throwing at me occasionally because this pretty fragrance is there to stay for good.
I don’t think any girl is going to dislike it. It’s a very pretty, beautiful and not at all overpowering fragrance that I’m in love with.

EXPERIENCE –

Before I tell you something about this product I would like to tell you guys that I got my hair smoothening done from L’Oreal itself so they recommended this shampoo to me along with its conditioner and serum – all of which belong to the same x-Tenso range. You would need around two spoonfuls of this product to create a good lather. I need the same amount and I have waist length hair.
It creates a good lather and yet feels incredibly light at the same time. I usually just lather and rinse it off quick. I don’t let the shampoo sit on my head for long.

L’Oreal Paris X-Tenso Care Shampoo 3
It has given me great results. I have noticed a great difference in the hair fall and it claims to have an anti-breakage formula as well which I guess does work and live up to the claim because I hardly see
hair on my comb anymore. Also, I have frizzy dry hair so if I use just the shampoo it makes my hair super dry and they seem to fly in all directions so I recommend the conditioner follow up for people who have treated hair. People who have naturally dry hair like some of my sisters claim that it does liven up the hair and reduces dryness as well.
I use it twice or thrice a week as appropriate and I’m in love with the product.

PROS

  1. Lathers well
  2. Ahhh-amazing fragrance
  3. Controls dryness and makes hair less frizzy
  4. Reduction in hair fall
  5. Travel-friendly
  6. No parabens
CONS
  1. A bit pricey
  2. You need a good amount to lather well

My Recommendation

Well I’m in love with it and this is my second bottle already that is nearing its end too. GO and TRY it

Garnier Color Naturals Burgundy 3.16 Review

Are you bored of your hair color? Seeing the same old hair every day in the mirror, looks a bit dull?  Want to experiment something new? So people what are you waiting for? Color it! Coloring your hair not only add colors to your hair but also makes you look more elegant. But what color is suitable to use? Is it good or bad for your hair? Is it trustable? Recently I tried out this product Garnier Color Naturals Burgundy 3.16 and I would like to share my review on this Garnier hair color and also I will tell you about the usage procedure, precautions and the pros & cons of the product.

Garnier Color Naturals Burgundy 3.16 Review

Price

Rs. 180

The pack Contains

50ml developer milk, 50g Hair Colorant-TYPE III, Hair Conditioner 2*5ml, Instruction Leaflet, and Gloves

How to use-
  1. Read carefully the instructions leaflet before application. One must always do a skin allergy test(a process discussed below) without fail 48 hours before each use of this product.
  2. Put gloves on. To color entire hair, first, open developer bottle and pour the whole milk into a non-metallic bowl, then empty the whole tube of the hair colorant into the bowl. Mix very well. To color, only some portion of the hair, use half the bottle of developer and half the tube of colorant. Note: mix equal amount of developer milk and hair colorant into the bowl.
  3. Put on an old t-shirt. Carefully apply the mixture on the portions of your hair which you want to color using a hair coloring nonmetallic brush or by hand(with gloves on). Try to avoid contact with your skin.
  4. When you are done with the coloring, tie up your hair with a nonmetallic hair more clutch or cover it with plastic or old towel. Leave on for at least 30 mins. For better results, leave it on for 3-4 hours.
  5. Then rinse your hair thoroughly with water. Then apply the conditioner given with the pack. Keep it for 2 mins, then wash it off.
Precautions-
  1. This product contains ingredients which may cause skin irritation in certain cases and so a preliminary test according to the accompanying directions should first be made. This product should not be used for dyeing the eyelashes or eyebrows; as such use may cause blindness.
  2. This preparation may cause serious inflammation of the skin in some cases and so a preliminary test should always be carried out to determine whether or not special sensitivity exists. To perform the test, remove the earrings. Behind the ear and using a cotton bud apply a small quantity of the hair dye as prepared for use to cover 2 sq. cm. Allow drying. Carefully reseal the colorant tube and developer bottle. Leave for 24 hours without washing, covering or touching. If during this period you notice any abnormal reactions- such as itching, redness or swelling in or around the test area, do not apply the product. This test should, however, be carried out before each and every application.
  3. Ignoring an allergy can be life-threatening. In case of any reaction or when in doubt consult a doctor before using any hair color product.
  4. Do not color your hair if you have a rash on your face or sensitive, irritated and damaged scalp or you have ever experienced any reaction after coloring your hair or you have experienced a reaction to a temporary ‘black henna’ tattoo in the past.
  5. A person under the age of 16 is advised not to use the product.

My experience after using the Garnier Color Naturals Burgundy 3.16

I really like my hair color. It feels so natural. My friends are complimenting me every time they have a look at my hair. This was my first time trying out hair color. Yes, I was nervous thinking about how my hair will turn out to be. But the results are worth trying out this product. Especially the shade ‘burgundy’! The color is so pretty and mesmerizing! The color is best visible in sunlight. Bleaching your hair before coloring will obviously make your hair color completely visible but if you want to directly apply it on your black or dark brown or brown hair, it’s not a bad idea because it looks natural and beautiful as well. I have used it on my dark brown hair and my hair really radiates a soothing color when I go out. Though I haven’t colored my entire hair, you can see it in the pictures that I have given, still, it looks quite good for natural looking hair color. And also, bleaching your hair is not a very good option. At an affordable price, this product perhaps won’t disappoint you.

Garnier Color Naturals Burgundy 3.16 Review 2

Pros:
  1. Natural looking hair color
  2. Hair shines under the sun.
  3. No ammonia
  4. Suitable for both men and women
  5. Pleasant fragrance
  6. Silky, smooth hair
  7. Available at an inexpensive price
Cons:
  1. Color is only visible when hair is exposed to the sun or powerful light source. Otherwise, the color is not really visible.
  2. Not really suitable for highlighting your hair with this color unless you bleach your hair and then color your hair.
My rating

4/5

Would I repurchase this product?

Yes because I like my hair color. I don’t really have any complaint regarding this product. My hair has turned up perfectly fine after the application.
