My Experience with Bottega di Lungavita Linfa Age Tonic Stimulating Shampoo for Hair Loss

This shampoo comes in a darkened bottle. I like the packaging, to me its vintage. Like the bottle in the apothecaries!

This shampoo is a mildly thick liquid. It has a very definitive herbal scent to it. I dilute the shampoo with 3 parts water and then apply to my scalp. Now here is what I think. I have normal hair. It dries my hair out. Not stringy, but I can definitely feel the moisture seep out of my hair.

At the same time, I feel it controls my hair fall to an extent.

If you have an oily scalp, then there should not be much problem. If however, you have normal-dry hair be extra careful. What I like to do is, I was my hair with this once a week …say on a Friday. Once my hair dries, I THEN apply a nourishing hair oil or hair mask and wash my hair again on Saturday. It kind of deals with the dryness issue.

What did I like?
  1. Natural product
  2. Affordable
  3. Lathers well
  4. Controls hair fall to an extent
What I didn't like?
  1. Makes the hair dry
Overall Would I repurchase and recommend?

In this case, I would say, try it if you have hair fall problem and an oily scalp. For normal to dry hair, you may try this as a hair fall control option—but you have to do something about the dryness.

Monsoon is my fav time but it makes my hair go wonky. My scalp is sweaty and oily, while hair dry. I would like to use this once a week like you have suggested and hope it works out *fingers crossed*!
