Hello Girls! Summer is here and you must be searching for some summer friendly, light makeup products! How about a Lip and Cheek stain which is very light to wear and lasts long even while you sip-on your lemonade!! Today I will be reviewing The Body Shop Lip And Cheek Stain Red Pomegranate.

I am in constant search of cruelty free as well as the two-in-one product that’s how I met this gorgeous lip color! Travel-friendly too. I wear way too minimum makeup hence this is the product for a minimalist like me.

Company claim: works as a lip stain and cheek stain, one can apply it under lip gloss. Buildable to intensifying the color.

My Experience with The Body Shop Lip And Cheek Stain Red Pomegranate

Texture and pigmentation: It has liquid runny consistency, translucent in nature with good pigmentation for building intense color.

Experience: As said earlier I usually apply very light makeup, I always go for matte lipsticks. This lip stain works as a cheek stain too that is something cherry on icing to me. I apply it on lips prepped with lip balm Pat it with a finger to let it soak up into the skin, If I want more bright color I apply second coat that way it intensifies the color. It tints by literally sponging up into the skin that’s what I love about this product. It seems like subtle and so natural. It feels so nubivegant (oh! I sound so poetic).

I am glad that I chose this colour it looks so good on cheeks too! So natural as you get it while walking on snowy mornings (not an exaggeration though) ok! Coming back to the summer it works well on the sweaty face not making it look cakey since it gets absorbed into the skin.

I just put some tiny dots on the cheek and blend it till it looks natural.That’s it will last longer than any other blush which I have tried so far.

• Can use it under any lipstick or lip-gloss.

Cons:

• Bit pricey.
• Not creamy since it is a stain.
• Spill prone if not a bottle is not tightened properly.

Would I recommend this product?
