I go through these moods where I need a specific scent to suit my mood then. It may be cold and I crave warm earthy scents. It may be the end of the week (or hell, even Tuesday) when I am bone tired and I need something grounding to relax.
That’s why I keep on looking for offers on bath and body products. I am a not so proud owner of them in…Err late double digits
This one I bought on a flat 50 off, let’s see how this turned out for me
What is it and who is it for?
A shower gel that smells sweet

My experience with the Body Shop Honeymania Shower Gel :
This shower gel comes in the standard bodyshop packaging. Last month they have changed the packaging which is more compact and sleek.
This shower gel is a thick amber colored liquid. I will be honest here. I am not a girl who likes sweet fragrances AT all! Before buying this I saw a lot many reviews of this online. There were many praises of its fragrance that it is not sweet but mild and floral.
That’s totally untrue.
This stuff smells sweet. Cloyingly sweet and I despise it.
It is not even honey but honey gone on a sugar trip and swallowing a couple of flowers later on. Definitely a big No for me.
It lathers well. It is not very moisturizing, but does not dry the skin either.
All in all a pretty average body wash with a definitely peculiar scent. Unless you have not already smelt it, don’t buy this.
Positives of the Body Shop Honeymania Shower Gel:
- Sturdy Packaging
- Does not dry the skin
- Lathers well
Negatives of the Body Shop Honeymania Shower Gel:
- Personally, I really dislike the fragrance
- Not moisturizing
Overall would I repurchase and recommend it?
I despise this. There I said it. Buy it only after you have sniffed it and fall crazily in love with the fragrance.
