A facial brush is very important part of your skincare as it takes cleansing your face to the next level. It helps the cleanser to work better by unclogging the pores, clearing out the skin of the blockages, and give the skin a mild exfoliation paving the way for more radiant and brighter looking skin. My Experience with The Body Shop Facial Brush
Packaging- The facial brush has a transparent body with an ergonomic design which makes it easy to hold and navigate. Also, it comes with a lid which keeps the brush-covered when not in use. The packaging is extremely travel-friendly and makes it very convenient to use.
Texture and Color- The facial brush has synthetic bristles which are colorless with a transparent handle and lid. The bristles are quite stiff; they are neither too soft nor too harsh. The texture of the brush makes it ideal for using it on the face.
My Experience- I have fairly sensitive skin, so any facial brush which is even the slightest bit harsh can irritate my skin. I have used this brush with my daily cleanser and very light exfoliators. This facial brush is a little bit harsh on my face as it feels rough on my face even though it causes no redness or irritation. But it is a good fit for my neck and décolletage as it does not feel as rough or irritating.
Overall Performance of The Body Shop Facial Brush
- Hygienic as has it’s own lid
- Gives a good cleanse around the neck
- It is very affordable
- Feels rough on the face
- Cannot be used by anyone with sensitive skin
Would I Repurchase or Recommend?
I would not really recommend it as it feels rough on the face and you won’t be able to use it for the very purpose you have bought it. But if you are someone who is on a budget or travel frequently and wants to give it a whirl, you should as it is quite affordable.
