The Body Shop Drops of Youth Concentrate – Drops of Youth…An offer, that no girl (Infact, anyone) can resist! As soon as TBS came out with this line, I was determined to get my hands on this one. In fact, I picked this up from USA before it was launched in India. Shall we see if curiosity killed this cat?

The Body Shop Drops of Youth Concentrate Review 1

My Experience with the Body Shop Drops of Youth Concentrate

Packaging-

It comes in a glass bottle with a dropper. The packaging is sturdy and convenient to use.

Colour & Texture-

It is a gloopy gel. It spreads easily. Unfortunately, it doesn’t get absorbed into the skin.

Fragrance-

Now Smells like fresh cut grass.

Experience-

I dislike this product –A LOT. On applying, it just sits on the skin and does not get absorbed. It gives that sticky stretchy feeling , as if you have applied a gel mask. I just feel like washing my face within 10 minutes. By no standards does it qualify as a serum. Serums are supposed to be absorbed by the skin and make it look healthy and dewy. This one…ugh. My face feels sticky, itchy and all kinds of bad. Two whole years, this product has been lying around and I couldn’t be bothered to use it.

Please forgive my scathing tones. It might have worked out for some people, it’s a fail for me.

The Body Shop Drops of Youth Concentrate Review 2

Pros-
  1. Good Packaging
Cons-
  1. Just sits on the skin
  2. Feels sticky
  3. Hate using it
  4. So expensive
Would I Repurchase or Recommend?

For more than two years, this product has been lying around in my vanity-unused. I pledge every now and then to finish it off , by using on my hands. I don’t even get around to doing that. It has been a complete waste of money for me. Not recommended.

Rating-1/5

One more expensive body shop product that doesn’t live up the hype.
