Who is it for? Blue Heaven Xpression Lip Color Pencil 06 is an affordable chocolate brown lip color. The shade is quite wearable so everyone would find it nice.

My Experience with Blue Heaven Xpression Lip Color Pencil 06

Packaging-

This lip color comes in a golden color sharpenable chubby pencil. The packaging is extremely flimsy. The lip opens on its own so traveling with this pencil is practically impossible unless you are carrying it in a separate case.  Plus the shade number is given only on the outer packaging, not in the pencil.

Shade-

Shade 06 is a chocolate brown color with warm undertones. This shade looks brown on light skin tones but on deeper skin tones comes out as an MLBB shade. I am not comfortable with deep brown lip colors but this one looks comfortable and not over the top. It is a good office wear as well as evening coffee date look kind of shade.

Texture-

It is a satiny finish lipstick with no shimmers. The texture is smooth and glides on the lips with ease. The creamy texture of it does not dry out my lips. But, it has a tendency to emphasize flaky areas of the lips so remember to scrub away the dead cells before applying it.

Pigmentation-

Pigmentation is really good with this lip color. The true color comes with the first swipe. It gets completely opaque in another swipe. It does not stain the lips.

Staying Power-

It stays on for 4+ hours. The stay time increases if the humidity is not high. The color does not bleed. It does not survive meals and it transfers (if not blotted the moisture off).

Fragrance-

Except for a light castor oil smell, it is a fragrance-free product.

What did I like about it?

1. Warm chocolate brown color
2. Can be an MLBB shade for pigmented lips or dusky skin tones
3. The comfortable and wearable shade of brown
4. Good color pay-off
5. Non-drying formula
6. Extremely pocket-friendly
7. Does not stain the lips

What didn’t I like?

1. Low-quality packaging
2. Not travel-friendly
3. The tendency to highlight dry parts of the lips
4. Does not survive meals

Would I Recommend?

Yes. This is something you can wear in your workplace makeup look.
