My Experience with Biotique Facial Kit Party Glow

Packaging- This kit comes in a rectangular cardboard box. Inside the box, there are five 15gm tubs holding each step product of the kit and an instruction manual. The necessary specifications are mentioned in the outer box and each product tub contains its ingredient list expiry date and so on. This pack says to hold product for 2 facials but I feel the product will be good for 4-5 facials. I have already done 2 facials out of it and still enough product is left in each tub. This kit will get a high five for its thoughtful packaging. Most of the other kits come in plastic sachet so there is no way to store the excess product (most kits actually contain the product for at least 2 facials).

Colour, Texture, Fragrance & Performance- Here I will discuss each step of this kit in detail.

Step-1. Papaya Scrub- This is a muddy yellow colored thick scrub with black colored exfoliating granules. It has a light herbal smell. The scrub is gritty enough to take care of blackheads to a great extent. It has clay base instead of the cream base which is again good for every type of skin. It gets rid of bumpy clogged pores. But, if you have existing acne, this scrub might scratch it and give you a scar. I only use this scrub when my skin is free from acne.

Step-2. Saffron Massage Gel- This is a light yellow thick gel that smells floral with hints of saffron fragrance. The gel is hydrating and nourishing. I use gentle outwards motion with my wet fingers for massage. It gives enough slip for massage and does not get dried easily. It gives a nice glow to the skin.

Step-3. Clove Pack- This is a mud based pack that has faint clove smell to it. This pack is thick in texture so I apply it on the slightly wet face. It gives slight tingles in first 1-2 minutes but hen that tingle subsides and the pack starts to dry. I do not keep it more than 10-12 minutes. This pack shows an amazing pore tightening action and helps to unclog pores. I generally cleanse my blackheads after this step.

Step-4. Clinical Dark Spot Corrector- This is a white colored thick cream but once it is applied to the skin it gets completely absorbed and mattified. This dark spot reducing cream is the fourth step of this facial but it is provided in enough quantity to be used for at least 2-3 week. I use this product at the time of the facial and every night between two facial sessions. It has slightly lightened my acne marks.

Step-5. Saffron Youth Dew Cream- This is a day cream for dry skin. It has light texture but it is a quite oily product. I thought it would give me pimples but thankfully it did not. This white colored cream has a nice saffron fragrance. It is basically a day cream but without SPF so you can certainly use as a night cream! I generally do my facial at night before hitting the bed. I just put a light layer of this cream and the next day I wake up with nourished and plump skin.

Would I Repurchase or Recommend?

Biotique Party Glow Facial Kit is one of the best facial kits under Rs.250 that would fare on normal, combination and dry skin. This facial kit provides smooth and glowing skin. Its effect lasts for a week for me so I will definitely repurchase and recommend this kit.
