My Experience with Biotique Bio Musk Root Fresh Growth Nourishing Treatment Pack
Packaging- This hair pack comes in a white plastic tub with a green screw lid. The tub resides in a cardboard box that contains all the ingredient details and all other information. I am not a fan of tub packaging because they tend to contaminate products easily. But, for a thick product like this, this type of packaging is very convenient. I use a clean spatula to take out the required amount of product. This pack is available in two sizes; my 200gm pack is the smaller size of the two. Still, the tub is quite bulky. Since I do not travel with my hair pack it is not a serious con for me!
Colour & Texture- The Musk Root pack is a black-brown colored thick paste. The paste has tiny gritty granules of some herbal constituent. The pack, after mixing with curd, makes a nice medium thick non-drip mixture that applies on the hair very smoothly.
Fragrance- This hair pack has an herbal fragrance to it. The fragrance is not artificial so it would not irritate the scalp or cause any adverse reactions.
Experience- According to the instructions mentioned in the packaging this pack needs to be mixed with egg or curd. I do not like to apply eggs in my hair so curd is my option. I mix it with curd of full-fat milk and apply like henna. Though this pack looks like a readymade henna pack, it does not leave stains in the hair. I keep it in my hair for about 30-40 minutes and then wash off. This pack has gritty particles in it. Cleaning those particles completely from hair is a tedious task that involves lots of water. However, the effect of this pack is good. It gives squeaky clean scalp and hair with zero greasiness or product build up. The limp hair becomes voluminous. It gives shine to the hair but that shine is not similar to the shine achieved from silicone rich conditioners or serums. The pack is a bit drying for my already dry hair. That is why I like to oil my hair before applying it. This pack did not do anything with hair growth for me. To be honest, I was not expecting any such thing from it so I am not that disappointed. Thankfully it did not cause hair fall.

Would I Repurchase or Recommend?
Though the Bio Musk Root pack did not help in hair re-growth, I would buy this one again and again as a clarifying hair cleanser to get rid of the product build-up and greasiness resulted from the oiliness of my scalp and use of silicone conditioners. I would recommend it to people who have limp and oily hair with scalp infections or dandruff.
