Like every other lotion, one has to apply it on a clean face, liberally before sun exposure. Reapply as needed after swimming or perspiring activities. Helps to reduce the risk of skin aging, skin cancer and other harmful effects of direct sun exposure.

My experience with the Biotique Bio Aloe vera Face and Body Sunscreen Lotion

First impression:

As I have a thing about ayurvedic/organic products I was already a little biased about it. The packaging is fine; the sunscreen is in a bottle like a container which is cute to look at (at least I find it cute). So I was quite happy with it. Overall, the first impression was great.

What I felt after using the product?

Although I’m biased with ayurvedic products, to be honest, this is the worst product launched by biotique. Firstly, the lotion is way too sticky. You won’t realize it while applying it, but after 30-45 seconds your entire skin will feel the stickiness of the sunscreen. Secondly, it’s a little heavy. You will feel that you have applied something; it is not light to use. Thirdly, it burns sometimes when you apply it. Initially, I thought that it happened to me only. But one of my friends also told the same thing. Lastly, the weird smell forced me to stop using this product.  I didn’t find a single good thing about this lotion except that it is ayurvedic.

This lotion is not effective to be used as a sunscreen as well.

What don't I like about it?

I literally loathe this product. It was an utter wastage of 200 bucks. I didn’t even use this product for even 10 days. It is lying on my dressing table like that only. Neither did I use nor my mother. I found only negatives in this product which are as follows:

1. Too sticky to use
2. Heavy in applying
3. Burns the skin after applying
4. Makes skin oily
5. Weird smell
6. Not at all worth the money

As I stated above that only good thing about this product is that it is ayurvedic. And this thing also won’t persuade any person to buy this sunscreen.

Would I recommend?

N.E.V.E.R. Instead of buying this product for 200 bucks one should give away his money as a charity at least it will help someone. I will rate this product only 1/5(that too for being ayurvedic).
