My Experience with Bio Oil:
Well, to be honest, I have a few stretch marks on my body. I tried many home remedies but nothing worked. So I wanted to use this product desperately. Being a student, it did cost me a lot especially for a meager quantity. It’s peach colored oil that comes in a cute transparent plastic bottle. It has a very mild fragrance. So it’s good for people who can’t tolerate the strong smell. It can’t be used on broken skin.People with sensitive skin must test it before using it. I didn’t have any side effect after using it.Take some oil and massage for good 10 min over stretch marks. It gets absorbed easily. Once absorbed properly, it’ll barely leave stains on clothes.
Though it can be used for many purposes, I used it to get rid of my stretch marks. As per directions, it is advised to use this oil twice daily for 3 months, religiously. It may take months to get the results. I used it for about 2 months and I even skipped sometimes, credit goes to human nature to forget things. But it didn’t help me get rid of my stretch marks completely, not even close to complete.
It does improve the appearance of stretch marks though. They become smoother and even. The results vary person to person.
Overall performance OF Bio-Oil:
If you are looking it for a solution to your stretch marks then, in my opinion, this oil is not up to the mark and of course not worth the price.
Would I recommend?
If your stretch marks are fresh i.e. reddish- purple, then you can give it a try. But for older stretch marks, it doesn’t work well.I would never repurchase this product as I didn’t get desired results. :no :no However, I would recommend this for other purposes that it serves as its results vary from person to person. This is a test.
