BENEFITS OF JOJOBA OIL: Jojoba oil, a liquid wax extracted from the nut of an indigenous American shrub has become very popular and is being widely used these days for various purposes. This liquid wax is later on refined into odorless, colorless oil. Jojoba oil closely resembles sebum, making it a natural skin conditioner.

It’s well known how important Vitamin E and vitamin B-Complex is for good hair and skin. The good thing about jojoba oil, it is highly rich in these, making it wonderful oil for both hair and skin. Dry scalp or chapped lips, jojoba oil can be used in numerous situations. It is time you grab one too, but before that, here are its various benefits for the skin and hair.

BENEFITS OF JOJOBA OIL

BENEFITS OF JOJOBA OIL

  • SKIN MOISTURIZER –

This non sticky oil acts as a skin moisturizer. We already know how soaps and other skin cleaning products strip off the natural oil or sebum from the skin making it dry and itchy. A few drops of Jojoba oil and the skin is good to go. It seals the moisture and acts as a guard against external impurities. This natural non-sticky skin moisturizer also makes the skin soft and thus preventing itchiness or irritation.

  • TREATS SKIN DISORDERS-

Various skin disorders like eczema, rosacea etc can be treated with jojoba oil. Well, I too was unaware of this fact, but yes it does treat the skin disorders and provides relief due to its antifungal and anti inflammatory properties. This is considered a natural cure for eczema. Dip a cotton into the oil and apply directly to the affected area, this will sooth the situation.

  • PREVETS RAZOR BURNS  -

Cuts and burns are very common issues with razors. But with jojoba oil, the threat of shaving incidents like cuts and razor burns gets eliminated. It is 100 percent natural and promotes healthy skin. Just apply it before you shave next time to avoid such razor troubles. In case you have a cut after, just apply the oil and it will heal quickly.

Haven’t we all gone through acne problem while growing up. However, some face it even after growing up.  The solution to your acne problem is jojoba oil. • TREATS CRACKED FEET AND DRY HANDS -

Winter is gone, yet many of us still face the problem of cracked feet and dry hands.. in addition to it, frequent use of soap does no good. Applying jojoba oil on feet and hands can solve this problem and also makes them soft and supple.  Another trick one can try is soaking the hands and feet in warm water for 5 to 10 minutes. Afterward massage it well with the jojoba oil.

  • A MAKEUP REMOVER/BODY OIL-

One can also use jojoba oil as a makeup remover and a body oil. Vitamin E makes it perfect to be used on the skin. Instead of spending a lot on different products, invest your money in Jojoba oil and make use for several reasons.

  • CONTROLS HAIR LOSS –

Hair loss is the BIGGEST problem of our lives. With the monsoon, hair loss also becomes very frequent. Jojoba oil comes to our rescue by controlling hair loss and promotes healthy hair growth. It penetrates deep into the hair follicles and dissolves the sebum buildup, thus clearing the blockage. This results in hair growth. The vitamins and minerals in the oil make it a great hair oil, perfect for the hair and scalp.

  • TREATS DRY AND FIZZY HAIR-

Jojoba oil can be great for controlling dry frizzy hair. It moisturizes conditions and makes the hair tangle free. Massage the hair well before washing it off with a mild shampoo. You can also put a few drops of it in the shampoo, to control the dryness. Or you can just drop some on your damp hair to keep it manageable and frizz-free.

  • TO CONTROL DANDRUFF –

Dandruff is a common sight during the winter. No one likes dry, irritated, itching scalp. Use Jojoba oil to cure this problem.

The benefits of jojoba oil are not just limited to skin and hair, it can also be used to improve the health of your nails. It helps in preventing wrinkles and early signs of aging. Not just this, but it can also be used as a lip balm, under eye oil, for stretch marks etc
