Beetroot Benefits: Beetroot has earned its place in the list of superfoods within the past few years because of its remarkable health benefits. Researchers have proved that drinking beetroot juice can do wonders for your health.

The beetroot juice is high on iron, vitamins, and minerals. It cleanses the body of toxins, resulting in a healthy glowing skin.

Juicing is the best way to intake beetroot because cooking them will reduce their nutrients. If you do not relish the beetroot juice as alone, you may add a few apple slices, carrot, mint, lemon etc. This will help balance out its earthy taste.

You can add raw beetroots to the salads.

The beet greens can be sautéed with spinach and can be taken as sides to the main course.

Its earthy taste can be unbearable for many. I would suggest mixing it up with other fruit juices or lemon to balance out the taste.
