Avon Solutions Refined White Day Cream Review

by Varnika Chauhan

What is it? Avon Solutions Refined White Day Cream is a lightweight moisturizer which is supposed to help improve the skin by hydrating it and making it brighter. Avon has a whole range of skincare products known as “solutions”. This one is for the dull and tired looking skin.

My experience with Avon Solutions Refined White Day Cream

The day cream comes in a very classy looking tub which is made of glass. So the product in itself looks very promising and classy (the jar is quite heavy though). The cream has a slight pink tint to it which is barely noticeable.

Now, the texture of this cream is quite light. It is quite thin.

When I applied this to my face, I noticed that it does not get absorbed instantly. In fact, it does not get completely absorbed at all. Some part of it stays on top of the skin looking like oil. I have a dusky complexion. So when I applied this, it looked slightly white on my skin and I was sure that this is an oil-based cream. It made my skin look so oily. When applied, it does not add any brightness to your face at all. In fact, it might make your skin look dull because of all the oils it has.

My mother, however, did not have this problem of white residue. In fact, she quite liked the cream because she has dry skin.

I had to make the product work so I decided to use this only when I was at home. After regular use, I noticed that my skin indeed was getting brighter and the suntan was also fading away faster. My mother’ skin showed similar results.

I feel the cream will not do so much instantly. However whatever ingredients it has are quite powerful and work to make the skin look more refined. You just have to be patient with it.

Great review. But has the same old problem of leaving a whitish tint behind.

What’s a good day cream/ skin block for oily skin or especially oily T-Zone? I am very confused regarding what I should but that’s not too expensive.
