Hi, peeps so, today I will be reviewing the Avon Simply Pretty Pressed Powder. Let’s see how it worked for me.

Price:

Rs.229 for 11g

Direction to use: pat and smooth gently on face.Avon Makeup Simply Pretty Presssed 1

My experience with Avon Makeup Simply Pretty Pressed Powder

So, I got my hands on the Avon simply pretty shine no more pressed powder in the shade natural beige. The product has a very mild fragrance which is really nice as sometimes you want to look natural and don’t want the people to know that you’re wearing any makeup. It is completely pressed and gives a matte finish as claimed by the product. This compact covers up blemishes to a certain extent but doesn’t expect a complete coverage with this one. The product claims to control oil which is not true as after 2 hours of wearing this your skin starts to produce oil and it definitely can’t control that. This is budget friendly but gives the average result. I agree with the fact that this product is quite suitable for the Indian skin-tone.

I needed to re-apply the product quite often to maintain the matte finish. I found that I got few pimples on my face after applying this to my face. This was quite disturbing for me as the product claims to be non-acnegenic. I don’t feel satisfied with this purchase at all.

About the packaging:

The product comes in a nice round pink colored container with the product name written in dark pink color and on the back of the container, all the information about the product is mentioned. It comes along with a nice puff to apply the product. It has a round mirror on the lid which allows you to put on the compact anywhere, any time when needed.

Avon Makeup Simply Pretty Presssed 4

Pros:
  1. Travel-friendly
  2. Mild fragrance
  3. Nice packaging
  4. Matte finish
  5. SPF 14
Cons:
  1. No oil controlling
  2. Needs to re-apply very often
  3. Prone to acne
  4. Average results
Would I recommend?

I found this product quite average according to the price. This is a bad choice for those having oily-skin as mine is oil too and I got pimples after the application. Not a great coverage, which made me feel dissatisfied with the purchase. I would not recommend this product as there are other really good options present in the market in the price below or same as this one.

No, it can’t set concealer but able to give you matte finish for a small time.

This doesn’t help like it would set up a conCealer. Its better to go for some other powder..Like the oriflame loose pressed powder which I have reviewed.
