Aroma Magic Mineral Glow Scrub: A good scrub and a good sunscreen are the two basic things that you need for building up an effective skincare routine. If nothing else these are the two things one should really focus on. Exfoliation is so much more important that we give it credit for and finding a GOOD scrub is again an even more important task. Thanks to the competition in the market we now have scrubs for every skin type- ranging from mild scrubs for everyday use to gritty ones meant to be used twice a week. Today I’m reviewing a VERY GRITTY scrub that is the Aroma Magic Mineral Glow Scrub, you definitely need this at least once in your lifetime 😛

My Experience With Aroma Magic Mineral glow scrub

Packaging- The scrub comes in a tube packaging with a screw on cap which might be a bit cumbersome to unscrew every now and then but hey there is no possible chance of leakage that way. Also, the tube is awfully pretty with a lot of floral designs in blue and multicolored print.

Texture and Consistency- The scrub is a faint green colored one which if looked at with the naked eyesight has absolutely no scrub particles. It looks like a thick green fluffy cream.

Fragrance- The scrub doesn’t really have a noticeable fragrance, in fact, it smells pretty much like nothing or maybe sand to me( not mud)

Experience- This is possibly the most gritty scrub that I  have ever come across. If you look at it closely it looks like a cream rather than a scrub because one cannot spot any scrubbing particles in it. However, the entire game of the scrub is in the texture of it. Have you ever made a homemade a scrub using baking soda and lemon juice? Do you know how gritty that feels? That is exactly the kind of feel you will get from this scrub too. It feels like sand particles or baking soda against your skin and doesn’t have a cream base. If used on wet skin it sort of disappears but it’s incredibly gritty hence I think it makes a great scrub for people who have oily/ blackhead covered noses. I use this every alternate day on my nose especially and you will not believe how less bumpy my nose skin feels now and the whiteheads there look all smooth and cared for.

Using it on the entire face has given me incredibly soft skin and scrubbed away all the dead skin and revealed a much softer skin instantly. A little is enough since the scrub is absolutely full of grit that produces a good amount of friction against the skin. Due to this nature of the scrub, I think it’s ideal for all your male family members too since men need a lot more gritty scrubs that females do. However, if you have sensitive skin it might be a bit too harsh for you. When I scrub with it I feel as if my face is all raw even though I scrub with a light hand but it has never given me red skin, rashes, breakouts or anything!

This is one of the grittiest scrubs and it certainly removes dullness. This is one of my favourites 🙂
