Aroma Magic Hydrating Seaweed Pack Review

by Sreeparna Ganguly

During the season change time, my otherwise oily-combination skin feels drier than usual. This sudden dryness might not feel anything comparable to the flaky dry skin of winter; it feels like just a whiff of dryness. These are the times I pamper my skin with a boost of hydration through some hydrating face packs or sheet masks. Today I am reviewing Aroma Magic Hydrating Seaweed Pack which I have been using currently to fight back the effects of autumn dryness. I have used lots of Aroma Magic Products since I have been introduced to this brand through my nearest beauty store. Aroma Magic’s aromatherapeutic skin care products are my favorites. I am yet to try their hair care range. Here we go with the review of Hydrating Seaweed Pack that says to moisturize and soothe the skin.

My Experience with Aroma Magic Hydrating Seaweed Pack

Aroma Magic Hydrating Seaweed Pack Review 2

Packaging- This face pack comes in a green squeeze tube with a white screw-open cap. There is no label graphics to be found on the tube except for a 6 petal flower logo. Every useful detail is presented in a written manner and the writings are in white color. Overall the packaging looks quite simple at the first glance though it is a travel-friendly and spill-proof tube.

Colour & Texture- The seaweed enriched face pack is a light green color transparent gel. The consistency of this gel pack is slightly thicker than plain Aloe Vera gel. This pack does not cracks up like a clay pack; it gets absorbed into the skin similar to the serums of sheet masks.

Fragrance- The gel has a unique herbal smell. The scent is free from artificial fragrance producing chemicals. The smell is very mild and goes off within 5 minutes of application.

Experience- This is my first gel-based face pack. So, it took 2-3 trials and errors to figure out the best way to use it on my skin. Currently, I use it once every week after my usual deep-cleansing ritual with a face wash and an exfoliator. The gel formula of this pack makes it very spreadable. I just need 2 peasize product for my face and neck. I keep this pack on my skin for about 10-12 minutes. It feels quite cooling on the skin as it dries. Unlike mud packs, it does not need thorough rubs at the time of washing off because it does not dry up completely. I just do a few splashes of water to remove the excess gel. This gel produces sufficient amount of hydration to the skin. I can notice a sheer glow on the face almost like the after-effects of a nourishing night cream. The glow lasts for 1-2 days if I do not miss on moisturizers. Due to its dewy effects, this gel pack feels quite heavy on my skin in humid summer months. I generally avoid using it when the weather is hot and humidity is high.
