My Experience with Anatomicals Anti-blemish Face Mask

Packaging

This mask comes in a bright fuchsia one-time use plastic pack. Once you open the pack, you are supposed to use the contents of the packet in one go. The product provided is enough to cover the face and neck. It is a tiny travel-safe pack that fits even the smallest of my purses.

Colour & Texture

The mask is a white colored cream. Though it contains kaolin and bentonite clay, the presence of essential oils and coconut oil derived skin nourishers give it a creamy texture. It spreads easily on the skin and gets absorbed over the waiting time. It does not rip off the natural moisture from the skin.

Fragrance

It has a light floral fragrance. The fragrance gives a soothing feel to the senses. The fragrance reminds me of Boroline skin cream.

Experience

I have acne prone skin that is why I chose this particular variant from the wide range of Anatomicals face masks. Seeing kaolin and bentonite clay in the ingredients I expected it to be a clay mask but surprisingly it is a creamy mask. I applied it on my cleansed face as suggested in the usage directions and kept it for about 10 minutes. It gives a light cooling feel for the first few minutes and then the creamy mask gets absorbed into the skin leaving a light white cast. After application, the skin feels moisturized and rejuvenated. The skin looked healthy and glowing. But, there was no reduction in the acne marks. It might lighten blemishes with regular usage so I don’t want to comment on this issue.

What do I like about this mask?
  1. Cream-based non-drying pore cleansing face mask
  2. The organic formula contains tea tree, evening primrose oil
  3. Deep cleanses skin
  4. Gives moisturized and healthy looking skin
  5. Light cooling sensation
  6. Soothing floral fragrance
What I dislike about this mask?
  1. Price is a bit higher for a one-time use cream mask
  2. No magical results and no reduction in acne marks
Would I Repurchase or Recommend?

It is a basic one-time use pore cleansing mask that comes with more number of essential oils and higher price tag. If you love using organic skin care then you might give it a try.
