There is something about stick foundations. They are very convenient and if you end up getting a one you like, that’s the dream. My mother swears by the Coloréssence one. I will link that below. I personally find it to be a bit, not there-there exactly for me.
Let’s face it, usually; our mothers are not super finicky about the products. It does the job, well and that’s what really matters to them. We, on the other hand, have been exposed to so many products that we are delicately discerning now 😉
ABH has one of the top-notch products in the market. I was gifted its stick foundation a while back.I was like wowza, happy times. Let’s see if this Anastasia Beverly Hills Stick Foundation meets the mark!

My Experience with Anastasia Beverly Hills Stick Foundation
Lipstick bullet like packaging, the standard. Sturdy and Luxurious.
There are 40 shades to choose from; including some contouring and highlighting shades-so, not all are foundations! That’s one impressive range, something for everyone.
It has a matte finish, more suited to oily skin. I feel it is not creamy and rather stiff. Blending becomes a job…blend, blend, and blend forever! That gets super annoying.
It latches on to every bump and dry patch…something that I am not a fan of. It kind of just sits on my skin. I like my foundation to just blend in well and become one with the skin. This one just did not work for me.
Overall Performance of Anastasia Beverly Hills Stick Foundation
Pros-
- Better suited for Oily Skin that is free of any textures
Cons-
- Stiff
- Difficult to blend
- Latches on to any textures or patches
- Not for dry skin
- Pricey
- Sits on the skin
Would I Repurchase or Recommend?
Nope. This did not wow me. It’s pricey and at this price, you can definitely score a better product.

Such a big name and a bad product..
Stick foundations are often like this. I thought this one would at least work (for the price) but sadly it failed 🙁
