Hey everyone!!!! Today I will be sharing a very article regarding Tea Tree Oil Uses. What is tea tree oil? Tea Tree oil is basically an essential oil derived from plant Melaleuca alternifolia. It is full of its medicinal properties and is being known for the same for many ages. Besides behaving as a medicine, it can also be a part of a beauty routine. It is becoming an increasingly popular active ingredient in various household and cosmetic products. Its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties make it an essential oil which can be an essential part of everyone’s routine.

Benefits of Tea Tree Oil

  1. Tea Tree Oil for Acne

It has proven very effective over acne issues when used properly. It can simply be applied over face and kept for a minute and then rinse off. You can also mix this oil with Rosewater and apply it evenly on your face using a cotton bud.Keep it on for few minutes and then wash off. This will remove all the impurities from the skin thereby reducing chances of acne.

  1. Tea Tree Oil for Hair

Tea tree oil is really effective over the dry and itchy scalp. Itchiness could be due to dandruff in hair. Products with tea tree oil must be used to fight such issues as they have given positive results over the issue. In order to prepare homemade shampoo, mix Tea tree oil with allover gel and Coconut milk, mix evenly. Apply this mixture for few minutes and then wash it off.

  1. As hand sanitizer

Tea tree oil works great as hand sanitizer. To prepare hand sanitizer – mix Tea tree oil ( approx 30 drops), Lavender essential oil ( 5 to 10 drops), Witch hazel extract ( tablespoon), Allover gel ( 2 tablespoons) and Vitamin E ( 1/4th tablespoon). Mix all the ingredients properly and keep it in a colored bottle, so that essential oils must not get direct exposure to light. Using this hand sanitizer will kill germs causing cough, cold, flu etc.

  1. Natural Deodorant

Tea tree oil works great as a natural deodorant to fight body odors. It can be very easily prepared at home. To prepare deodorant you need – 6 to 8 tablespoon of Coconut oil, 1/3 cup of Cornstarch, 1/4 cup of Baking soda, 2 tablespoons of Shea butter and any essential oil.

Mix all the ingredients properly and keep it in a small glass jar.

When you first start using this natural Deodorant, you will feel that your armpits are sweating a lot, but don’t worry they will dry out over time has your body adjusted to being able to sweat out naturally.

  1. For oral health

Tea tree oil has the ability to kill off bad bacteria from the mouth and soothes the inflamed skin.We can easily prepare DIY Toothpaste by mixing Coconut oil, Baking soda, and Tea tree oil. Use this solution to rinse mouth to get rid of any bad bacteria and especially bad odor coming from the mouth.

  1. For treating lice

Its anti-inflammatory properties are also effective over lice. If you are facing itchy issues due to lice then just mix Tea tree oil with your regular shampoo and use it thrice a week. You will be amazed by its results.

  1. To treat infections

Tea tree oil is great to treat infections as it is full of its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory actions. To prepare DIY ointment we need – Raw honey, Activated Charcoal, and Tea tree oil. Mix all these ingredients well. Keep it in a container. Apply it over the inflamed area. With few applications reduction in infection can be observed.

  1. As a bathroom cleaner

To prepare bathroom cleaner using tea tree oil we need – Baking soda, Vinegar, Hydrogen peroxide and Tea tree oil. Using this mixture you can clean mirrors, fixtures, and surfaces of the bathroom. Sink bowls, tubs, shower walls, floors and even toothbrush can be cleaned and disinfected using this solution.

  1. To relieve Earache

In order to get relief from that annoying earache, only a simple solution is required to be prepared. For this solution, mix 1 tablespoon of olive oil with 1 tablespoon of Tea tree oil. Drop this mixture into the ear and then remove it by tilting head or by using a cotton bud.

  1. To kills molds

To get rid of molds just mix Apple cider vinegar with Tea tree oil. Spray it on molds. Place outside to get sundry.

  1. To strengthen nails

Tea tree oil is great for treating yellow or discolored nails. Just add Vitamin E with tea tree oil and massage this on nails for few minutes. Rinse it off using lukewarm water. Do it once a week and you will notice changes in the nails texture.

  1. To treat toenail fungus and ringworm

Tea tree oil has antiviral properties so it is a great choice to be used in cases of athlete’s foot, toenail fungus and ringworm. To get relief from such fungal issues just apply undiluted tea tree oil on the affected area using a cotton ball. Keep it on for few minutes and then rinse it off. Use it whenever needed.

  1. To treat warts

Tea tree oil is used to treat a variety of skin conditions including warts. Place a drop of tea tree oil on warts and cover with a bandage. Tea tree oil is powerful stuff, so unless you are using the oil on the bottom of your feet, dilute it with water or apply it with a cotton ball.

  1. To treat vaginal odor

Tea tree oil can help removing vaginal odor with few uses only. Just dilute tea tree oil with few drops of water. Apply two to three drops of this on the outer area of your vagina. You will be able to feel the difference within 3 to 5 days of frequent use. If you felt any itchy issues or any discomfort then discontinue its use. Consult a doctor in such cases.

  1. To treat dry skin

If you are suffering from issues of dry skin then there’s a remedy which is quite easy to use and yet effective. Just mix Tea tree oil and Almond oil and apply it on your skin. Keep it for few minutes and then take shower afterward. Moisturize your skin.You will start feeling baby soft skin after few weeks of proper use.

I personally try the pimple and dandruff.. It is stellar at it.. I can vouch for it… But i have not tried a lot of these hacks.. U know exactly how nails get on skipping the base coat.. Yellowish discoloured, and i always have to buff my nails for getting it off.. Gonna try tea tree oil now.. Yay
